I bought this as a repellent for my pet rats to stay away from under my couch and my tv cords. I think they worked at first, but now my rats just take them and chew them. So had to throw them away. They definitely lose scent quickly, but you’re supposed to sand them to keep them fresh. I can’t be bothered with all that.

Put them in the ground around my shed to stop moles digging it seems to be working

Thankfully these were cheap as they were a massive letdown. Firstly let’s be clear. What you receive is not the same package as the pictures. Also it’s not 100 or 10 but 12 balls. The balls themselves may or may not be cedar I have no idea but one thing I do know is that cedar wood has that distinctive earthy smell and these just smelt a bit plasticky - even after sanding. The proof will be in if they work or not and that’s pretty hard to measure so buy at your own risk I’d say.
