Now this is the one
As i needed a new thermostat for my jag, I bought several before taking it apart and seeing what it looked like. This on fit and ended a lot of frushtration. I guess my Jag is not the base model as i assumed. So, if you have the XJ8 4.2 there are at lease three different thermostats for this car. "Dont be an ASSUMER".

1996 BMW 328I water pump replacement
Quality part, fast service. but does not fit my 328I new aluminum housing. Ordered belts, water pump, hoses, idler pulleys all from Amazon all fit. I am very happy with my purchases. I have tried several other thermastats from auto parts stores, can't find one that is same as factory unit, I finally had to breakdown and spend $50.00 at BMW dealership. Wo is me! 195 degree exact unit.

Once again the listing is wrong
This thermostat will not fit your 2003-2005 model year Jaguar XK8. The correct item in a four separate piece unit referred to on Amazon as W0133-1655931-OEA described as OE Aftermarket Thermostat for $25.70. I tried to fix this with Amazon but they have no clue when their stuff is wrong.
