Excellent color and durable finish. Provides just the right amount of lighting on our patio. Not intrusive or blaring lights. The Edison style bulbs are a nice touch. The lighting lasts almost seven hours. Very easy to install on stucco, wood or aluminum framed linai.

Nice decorative light for day or night. Bright but not to bright. I used them by may bird feeders to add to the look at nightm. Work great and stays on all night.

I ordered 3 sets for my backyard they all came quickly, packaged well no damage and looks so cute in my patio area. Gives off a warm glow for a great evening atmosphere.

These are solid and feel durable, I would bet this is borne out in product longevity--materials are mainly metal (for the body) and glass (for the shade). A few parts are plastic but not at all flimsy. I like the style of this lantern, and the Edison bulbs are fine in theory and certainly bright enough to be noticed in my landscaping. Unfortunately the bulbs have a razer thin LED "filament" which is very bright inside the lantern body itself, however 1) very little ambient light is produced around the lantern; 2) directly beneath the lantern there is effectively no illumination at all; and 3) I found the bright vertical filament without any diffusion or refraction to be annoying and visually unappealing both closeup and from a distance. I wanted to like them, and observed them in changing conditions over many evenings, but ultimately I returned them to keep searching for something more appealing and functional.

I received these lanterns in the afternoon on November 13, 2023, and I hung the lanterns outside in an area which received direct sunlight without any obstructions. The first day, they turned on when it became dark at about 4:30 PM and they remained lit until approximately 11:30 PM or so. They worked for approximately the same time period each day UNTIL TODAY, November 18, 2023, when neither turned on. What a complete disappointment! Sadly, I had purchased three other pairs of lanterns from other sellers — what I believed to be unique sets by different makers — but what turned out to be from the same manufacturer!The only good thing that I can say about these lanterns is that they did hang on the rail well. Of course, the handle has nothing to do with the function of the lanterns. The expectation was for the lanterns to be lit and provide light on the front stairs. Sadly, they did NOT do that.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY BUYING THESE LANTERNS!! The seller and the maker of these lanterns should be ashamed that these lanterns worked for only SIX DAYS; I have submitted another review for one of the other lousy lantern pairs. I wish that I had heeded the warning of others and not wasted my money buying this JUNK! Unfortunately, I have two other pairs of lanterns yet to hang outside. Sadly, considering two pairs are JUNK, I highly doubt that the remaining two pairs will be any better. Totally disappointing and a TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!!
