I bought this as a White Elephant gift for a holiday party game and it was a huge hit! Most partygoers thought I exceeded the $20 limit in my purchase (despite only paying $8.99, Lol!!!) The flashlight was "stolen" the maximum number of times by game participants... Several of the attendees were Intel engineers, the type that are super smart and into all that nerdy-techy-gadget stuff. They all loved the flashlight and were impressed by how bright it is, even debating on the number of lumens it emitted or something. Anyways, few gadgets pass their inspection of approval, so that says a lot about this device.Aesthetically, the flashlight is pretty looking awesome in person. Im obsessed with copper and rose gold, so the trim color initially caught my eye online. It has a "fancy" look to it, and definitely appears to be a higher priced item. My favorite functional feature is how it accepts a regular battery but also comes with a rechargeable one.This makes it the perfect emergency light source in my opinion. In fact, I ordered several more to keep at work. I'm a RN at a dialysis clinic and since we don't have backup generators, we must use flashlights to return our patients' blood and then safely evacuate everyone out of the clinic in the event of a power failure lasting more than 15 minutes. You need a bright reliable light source under such circumstances. I also plan on getting a couple to keep at home, tucked away in nightstands for use in emergencies.

Not even remotely close to 1000 lumens. On the other hand the "cheap" over-rated battery and charger is close to being worth 10 bucks maybe by themselves, so over all for 10 bucks, you are probably getting a not so bad deal but DONT expect anything spectacular. The odd ring, focus contraption is almost more of a hassle than a perk. I thought it was going to be a cool feature but it does not move all that smooth and be careful if you take the top off because in that focus ring is a small ball bearing I found out the hard way when it fell out but luckily I found it LOL. This is a decent disposable light for mucking about with and something you wont cry over when it goes belly up or you break it. I have legit 3 and 400 lumen lights that are brighter than this "1000" lumen light. The one thing they did get right is the pointy self defense claws that are deadly sharp. Only draw back to them is you have to fumble with the hard to use ring focus contraption to get them to raise up to use them and I have many times already accidentally scratched things and cut up shirt and jacket pockets with them not even really being exposed. If I had it to do all over again I would have bought a different cheap light for the simple fact that the things I thought were going to make this a cool light actually were not that much of a perk at the end of the day. I ended up giving it away as a "gift" after a few days of using it. To anyone not that big into flashlights or who is still stuck in the C and D battery flashlight era this light will without doubt make that kind of person happy cuz it is a good step up at least from old school flashlights

I really like it because you can adjust the beam with one hand, unlike most adjustable LED flashlights. The light is nice and bright, and I like the self-defense function from the sharp tips that extend when the beam is focused brightest. It does rattle a bit as the adjustment wheel is quite loose. I'm not a huge fan of the rubber cover for the charging port. It's just a flap of rubber on an O-ring. Once I figured out that it was on upside down and I slid the O-ring into the recessed slot with the cover part pointing upwards it worked much better.

The light output is good. The rubber button cover has come out and is now lost, so turning this on takes a tool. The multiple settings I find unnecessary, On/Off would do. Who needs strobe? I use the rechargable battery, that is good. The flashlight has nice solid feel, and mostly well constructed except the switch cover.

I bought these for my drivers, I had mine sitting on the passenger seat and started smelling something burning when I got to my pickup site I reached for my light and burned my hand the flashlight was extremely hot, so I put gloves on took battery out and it was smouldering it looks like wires ground out to the body of the light . I will be returning this one I have 5 more in use... we'll see how they work out

Very excited about this item! My daughter is obsessed with flashlights, but very rough on them. When I opened the box, she immediately started taking it out of the packaging and trying to play with it. I think this is finally going to be the one that lasts! The light is bright!!!

This was a gift from my husband, he knows i needed one for emergency. We live in a remote area and we always lose electricity. I was so pleased with this flAshlight it was so small yet it was too bright and has adjustable settings. Always good to have one of this. I loved the way that has multi functional, i must say u can use as self-defence or break windows if u needed to escape...

I love this flashlight. At least when it works for me. After very little use and placing it into my flashlight holder in my duty belt, the button had become finicky and will not turn the flashlight on. That’s why I can’t give it 5 stars I’m hoping someone can give me advice on what to do to fix this situation.
