Crossbody Canvas Messenger Bag

Serve as a small camera bag. Good quality, with multiple storage pockets and good zippers.

A bit of background....I'm 85. As a kid, I stuffed my pockets with everything. Mom got tired of repairing the holes in my pockets and finally sewed them shut. Later in life I resumed stuffing my pockets. Now, in my later years, I wear cargo pants and have to deduct 10 pounds from my weight when the doctor weighs me. I've tried numerous belt packs and shoulder bags that just didn't work as well as I would like. I kept looking but I didn't want a fanny pack or cross-body that looked like a CCW. This bag was the perfect solution. It is medium cotton canvas that is well made and stitched and doesn't look sissified. After all, I am a real man. The bag has 6 zipper pockets but isn't overly large. It rides well on my left side with the strap over my head on the right shoulder. It can easily be swung around for easy access and works well in the vehicle in a sitting position. I think you will like it. I know I do.

It is a little bit smaller than I thought but it holds all the things I must carry. Several pockets to keep things separated. Holds more than my small crossbody backpack! Very satisfied.

It appears to have good quality. The color of the bag and the strap differ a lot - the bag I got is grayish green but the strap is like a muted forest green. I don't mind but someone might. I looked inside every pocket and everything was stitched up. No loose threads anywhere. When I first got it, the zippers were closed but the zip itself was open like the zip had split? I just opened all the zips fully and closed them again and they're fine. I dunno why it was like that but nothing was broken or off track. The inner bag is lined with a cheapish feeling fabric but it has some kind of foam or cushion between each compartment seperation. Feels like added strength or protection. I wouldn't go throwing the bag around if you have anything breakable though. I was able to remove the patch on the outside and added my own. I was able to iron and sew to the fabric. So far I've very pleased. The size was perfect for what I needed and it's actually a bit larger than I expected just because it can expand a little.

I repurchased this bag because the previous one was so good. The quality has dropped off. The shoulder strap is light weight material that is not durable. The hardware (strap loop) is not keeping itself horizontal and slips into a vertical position no matter what I've done to try and stop it. The zippers are sewn on unevenly. There are strings of material that keep coming loose and get caught in the zipper. Other than that, its a great size and looks ok.

I bought 2, I'm looking for an excuse to buy a 3rd. I have an epileptic dog and her meds - including syringes - have to go EVERYWHERE with her, including walks. I needed something small, relatively waterproof, lightweight that can be worn crossbody so I have both hands free. And it had to have compartments because in an emergency, I can't be hunting around for a syringe, it has to have its place and it has to be there NOW. This is absolutely perfect, it's her little kit. The 2nd one I got is for me. You know how no matter how big your purse is, it's never big enough to hold everything? Yeah, the thing weighed more than I do. I needed something to discipline me - wallet, phone, keys, smokes, done, out the door. And a few pockets left over if I absolutely need something. Best $9-10 bucks I ever spent. So, I've got the green and the khaki, that grey one is really nice. I'm sure I'll think of something. EDIT: Well, instead of buying a 3rd version of this, I decided to get the messenger bag for $5 more - it will hold paperwork I have to carry around sometimes.

Initially was pretty happy with this item. Within the 1st few days, noticed the lining started to pull away at the seams. Within a week, it was a mess. Never put anything more than a phone or a wallet inside, so I knew it wasn't misuse. The lining just came undone, making ALL the compartments into just one shredded, stringy mess. Because of all the garbage that used to be the lining, closing the zippers became impossible without getting it jambed up with all the strings & shreads getting caught. Too bad this turned out to be worthless, unusable & an unsightly mess. The size was perfect & the design functional. But the manufacturing & end result is disgraceful, substandard & an insult to consumers. I would have returned this sorry excuse for a bag, but since it took WEEKS to get to me & DAYS to fall apart, I'd decided I wasn't going to let this fiasco take any more of my time or patience. I wrote this one off & will be extra diligent when ordering from Amazon. Sadly, found myself staying away from Amazon & only shopping on the site when it's my last option.

Very good appearance. Canvas. Can't remember why I got it! Still in the closet - gift, perhaps? Sturdy - not very big but looks useful for "men's stuff" like shaving gear ....

Smells nice.

Parfait!!! Grosseur idéale et tissu de bonne qualité

Good bag if it was just a bit longer in length, maybe another 1 1/2 to 2 inches. Lots of space and pockets. Sturdy. Will use it frequently!
