Looks Great and Works Well for the Price!
It came in 3 boxes and was packed really well. One issue with the 3 separate boxes, was that 2 of the boxes arrived on the same day, but the 3rd box got stuck in another state and didn't arrive until 2 days later. This wasn't the seller's fault, but it was still a bit frustrating.I really appreciated that all of the hardware was separated in packets and marked, so it was really easy to keep track of everything. Some of the pieces, however, were not marked. I took inventory of all the pieces received before beginning and it was easy to do because the directions were pretty detailed. It took a about 6 hours to complete putting it together, mostly because I had to take some breaks from the repetitive tightening of screws. Some holes were not machined properly and I did have to punch them out with my allen wrench (they do include an allen wrench/phillip's head tool, but I wouldn't recommend using it. I used an allen wrech set I already had). There were a few instances where I had to remove some pieces to swap how they faced, but it didn't set me back too much. I was actually able to put the whole thing together myself without much trouble, other than my kids excitedly wanting to help!Bottom line: I bought this bed knowing that at this price range I didn't expect it to survive a move. It is not the best quality, but again, for the price range it is made extremely well. I had previously purchased another bunk bed for my boys a few years ago for around the same price and it was not as sturdy as this one. We've had it up now for 2 weeks and my boys (aged 3 & 6) absolutely love this bed. The slide is very sturdy and they love going up and down and sliding their toys down as well. There was a panel included to close off the bottom stair (it does not open for storage like the top two) so I left the panel off and used it for storage as well. Another modification we made was putting all of the slats up on the top bunk and left the bottom bunk without the slats. It didn't feel as sturdy on the top with only half of the slats provided. We plan to buy some fabric and make a tent for the house part and a curtain for the bottom so they can have their own forts (and hide their messy beds!).

Easy to assemble, poor quality wood that supports the mattress, 2 boards broke with the weight of an 8-year-old girl
