Assuming the Garmin has a 20mm lug width and has removable spring bars, yes, I would imagine it can be fitted with this type of MN strap.

Does it fit a tudor fxd? or a fixed lug watch anyway?

the way this MN strap is made, it will not fit a fixed lug watch (I have a CWC watch with fixed lugs). What I did was carefully cut the stitching that holds the single metal loop (through which the hook end runs through). Run the loose end through the back of the watch and re-attach strap to the slider loop, you can then re-sew. (I stapled it together). It means that you have to do this every time you change out watchstraps, unlike the NATO strap arrangement. Hope this helps.
