I Bought this when my controller failed and I thought I had tested everything. It turns out the fault was with the way I had rewired the throttle, and wasn’t the motor. My old motor worked fine with this motor’s new controller and throttle. The throttle supplied with this kit is a push button on/off, where I wanted a key throttle, so I still had to buy a new throttle. Now I have spares. Moral, don’t be this guy. You can find e-bike testers which you plug your throttle, or controller, or hub motor into, to see if they work. Edit: It’s five months later and the old 36v hub motor failed when I used a 48v battery with a duel 36/48 volt controller. The new hub motor is now in play working with the same controller at 36v. As a 48v motor it should do fine. Torque is great at 36v. Turning that frown into a smile.

Just tried the bike out and it goes well straight forward to put together I did it in a few hours half pissed . The price and quality of the parts are ok although the straps on the bag broke no biggy though.

This was much better than I thought, FYI will blow your mind just how fast this thing goes. I got a battery that brought separate and it needed to be 48v 13A or over and I put with the controller on the back rack of my bike that I bought. I got some nuts and bolts the same size for the battery mount and drilled in the holes. This is soooooo cool about 31mph/25mph without a struggle. Very much fun! Fast delivery, had some manufacturing issue with the freewheel which a bike mechanic helped fix, vendor was helpful and covered my expenses. On uncapped throttle it's able to last me 5.5hrs, on capped speed with mix of throttle and pedal assist it lasts around 7hrs. Wheel easily got me going steep uphill, I'm happy with my purchase.

To get this wheel to work, I had to buy it again. I now have two wheels, one works and one does not. My second purchase was for the model with LCD display. It was plug n& Play,no issues. That leaves me with another wheel that does not turn. The controller required to make it work is attached as a photo. There is no listing for a replacement controller. This is costing me a fortune, I have ordered a replacement contoller and display (from another supplier) and paid £45 for shipping. My 1st wheel for £159.99 had to be upgraded to the same standard as the 2nd wheel at £179.99. The £20 extra cost was for an LCD display, a motor controller to suit LCD and a throttle to suit the motor controller. To upgrade my 1st wheel, I had to pay £83.99 for a new controller/LCD Display and compatible throttle. This seems excessive, but I am grateful to them for having this Kit as a buyable part. Without it, my 1st wheel would have been useless. The lesson learned is: -always buy the £179.99 version (with LED Display). I don't know why the £159.99 kit exists. Who rides a bike without knowing the speed and Odometer reading?

I had a knocking noise and creaking but it is now gone thanks to the support from seller turned out it was the spokes they just needed tightening thank you again I am now pleased this my purchase

Does anyone know how mean magnet steels this wheel hub has It's so I can set it on the speedometer Iv had myn since December 27th It's been doing atlas 20 miles aday and it's still rolling Just don't know how fast I'm going
