Amazing loupe that’s very high quality.
This is a fantastic loupe. Build quality is amazing. Solid, rugged, and crystal clear. The size is awesome and using it is extremely easy and comfortable. As long as the lighting is right around you, it’s very bright and easy to use. Great value for the money. You can easily verify authentic Rolex crystals with it even by looking for the crown at 6 o clock! See the faint outline of the logo in my image, this was taken holding my phone lens close up using the loupe.

Outstanding!
I think this loupe is outstanding. Image color is good and the field of focus is quite flat. The magnified image is sharp and clear. The plated metal housing is sturdy and the pivot is appropriately stiff. The lens housing is textured and offers a solid grip. There is a lanyard loop if you wish to carry the loupe that way. My only negative is the little vinyl case that it comes in. The snap on mine was so stiff that I could not get it unsnapped. I even tried prying it apart with a screwdriver. I eventually had to cut it open, which (of course) destroyed it, but no big loss, as I would rather wear it on a lanyard than carry it in my pocket.

A nice pocket loupe, great price
Overall, this is a rather nice loupe, and I thought it was a very good price. I like that it's small, so it's truly good for a pocket size (as opposed to some that have cases that are a bit too large to truly to carry in a pocket.) This loupe has a black surround and the triplet lense is quite distortion-free. The lens is just a bit smaller than some other more expensive models (a few mm), but the magnification is still excellent. ~ Laura C.

Great Quality!
I was blown away by how good this 18 mm lens 10x Triplet is. The chrome plating is thick and mirror-like. The images are sharp and contrasty without color fringing around the edges of objects. The field of view is also flat and undistorted. The size is small for a 10x triplet but easy to carry it in your pocket. To protect the optics, keep it in the soft snap case. As I write this, I decided to purchase the hexagonal model, not because I need an extra, but because it looks so cool! Buy this brand. You won’t be disappointed. P.S. Don’t be fooled by vendors selling triplets claiming 30x or 40x magnification. This is false advertising. Given the choice of a 10x or 30x triplet, buyers are inclined to go with the higher magnification, believing that more is better. In reality, the magnification is only 10x, which is more than enough for most handheld applications. I typically use 5x or 7x to identify small details, such as plants and mushrooms. If you need more than 10x, buy a small portable microscope.

It works.
Bought it to check out a few stones, not as solid as I'd expect, but still pretty good.

Worth the money
It's worth the 13 bucks. The little case it came with was very hard to unsnap and very cheaply put together but I didn't even know it came with a case so no loss there. It will serve its intented purpose.

Focus is hard to lock in. Only the tiny centre spot gets focus
