I needed to check my battery to see if alternator was working. No issues. Served its purpose. Worth the little money if all you need is basic. Good tool to have in the tool box.

Lost the one that I had for years needed one in a pinch while on vacation in Florida. This one was the cheapest with decent ratings. I do agree it's great for the value came charged with batteries worked right out of the bag. You can do DC or AC which is nice. It has lots of different functions. Please make sure you read the owner's manual before sticking those electrics probes in things if you don't know what you're doing. It doesn't come with a carry case so I can't rate it on that, but it does seem accurate based on voltages. I tested it on and it is easy to read with large LCDs display. Definitely a good size for portability. Keeping it in your glove box or your car for quick issues is handy.

Bought this to chase down a charging problem on my travel trailer. The batteries weren't taking a charge on shore power, and I needed something to start isolating where the voltage was dropping out. This meter got me there. I checked the AC side coming in, then what was actually reaching the batteries on the DC side, and that's how I narrowed it down to a bad AC to DC converter rather than the batteries or the wiring.The probes feel solid, the dial has good detents so you're not second-guessing the range, and DC readings were steady and consistent. The backlight is a genuinely nice touch. A lot of my testing happened in a dim storage bay and under the trailer, and being able to read the screen without holding a flashlight in my teeth made the job a lot easier. It's light and small enough to live in the truck, so it's become my grab-and-go meter for quick checks.Five stars. It saved me from replacing two 6v deep cycle batteries that were actually fine.

First one I got quit didn’t work. I returned it & it was replaced very quickly. The new one works great & no problems. The picture on Amazon shows 2 AAA batteries. It actually came with a 9 volt which i think is a better choice.

Un appareil pour des mesures électriques 'tension, courant et résistance sans oublier la mesure des tensions des piles de 1,5v et 9v plus la batterie automobile de 12v). Ce multimètre est populaire, il le mérite pour ses caractéristiques et sa compacité.

If you dabble in electronics a bit or even if you don't it is avery helpful tool. This worked great. I can check Voltage, Ampearage of my connections. Check if a charger is working. Check plug poits at home. There are literally thousands of applications. I don't do much but the bit I need works great. Recommended in this price point.
