Not gb and died after 50 days
Bought this to put into a desktop i use for a gaming server. I noticed after the first week that the speed on one port was gb and the other was fast Ethernet. 10/100. I let that slide as it was only the backup. After about 50 days of use it completely started crashing the whole system. Even the other NICs in the computer. I would return if i could but its after the return window.

Great performance for a network video recorder/server
I got this card to add second network adapter to a computer I was configuring as a video management server. I like to use separate LANs for IP cameras and clients and the box I was using only had a single network port on the motherboard. The card installed easily and was recognized immediately by Windows 8. After testing, I saw the network ports on this external card were faster than the port on the motherboard, no doubt because it was an older PC and this card had a newer chipset. I ultimately disabled the port on the motherboard and have been using the two ports on this card without incident. This card is hard to beat if you are looking for a reliable, plug-and-play card to upgrade your network port, particularly for the price. Highly recommended.

Flawless Firewall/Router Performance To Date
I have this installed as a second NIC in a firewall/router and after several weeks of use I don't have any complaints. Installation was a breeze - opened it up, switched out the (included) plate for the small-form-factor plate, stuck it right in the pci-e slot and booted into the firewall OS. The machine recognized the NIC right away and it's been handling all traffic for the network it's installed on since then. Speeds are great and so far it's been reliable.

Worked great on an old pc.
Worked perfectly in an old phenom xii 945 pc. The onboard nic died and this was an easy replacement. The low price makes these disposable.
