Get’s the job done, works well.
Works well, fits well, makes for an easy repair. The newer models aren’t as rugged as the older ones. These seem to last 3-5 years on my house. The original, which came with the door, was installed in 1958 and lasted until 2016. This is the second replacement since 2016. Not a big issue, but wish they would last longer.

Good Aluminum knob latch Replacement 4 A 1960’s dorm door🚪!!
Had to replace the door knob handle several times because handle spring broke. Causing the storm door not to latch. This is the 3rd handle I had to replace. Does not fit the depth of door and had add a layer of wood to the storm door.This is Good replacement knob and latch for an old aluminum storm door built in 1960’s.

Well designed
Seems well designed, I'm hoping it will hold up. Get this rather than the National Hardware alternative, even though it costs significantly more.
