Wpięcie do mikrofonu zawieszonego na ramieniu jest kłopotliwe i wymaga przedłużki. W konfiguracji z krótkim kablerm XLR ( około 1,5 m) nie zauważyłem, żeby Fethead wzmacniał szumy przewodu. Wcześniej miałem Klark Teknik CT-1 i uważam, że był wykonany gorzej. Fethead jest robiony w Holandii i w cenie desertcarta naprawdę warto go kupić. Jedną gwiazdkę odejmuję mimo wszystko za cenę!

Mi interfaz USB de Steinberg se quedaba corto como preamplificador para este microfono y el Fethead funciona de manera excelente para añadir la ganancia requerida de manera limpia sin capturar ruido. Comprar otro interfaz bastante mas potente tecnicamente hubiera sido la mejor opción pero hubiera sido mucho más caro, no obstante el Fethead me proporciona casi el mismo resultado (casi no añade nada de ruido) y me resultó mucho mas barato. Además es pequeño y sencillo de instalar (simplemente conectarlo al cable XLR entre el interfaz y el microfono). Llevo un par de meses usandolo y estoy encantado, ya que el resultado es más que satisfactorio. Lo recomiendo! PROS: - Mas barato que comprar otro interfaz o preamplificador mas potente - Apenas añade nada de ruido con el incremento de ganancia que aporta - Muy pequeño y fácil de instalar (optimo si te vas desplazar con equipamiento mínimo) CONS: - Un preamplificador o interfaz diseñado para microfonos como el Shure SM7B proprcionaría una experiencia un poco o ligeramente mejor (aunque esto sería bastante más caro que el Fethead)

**Q: I have an AudioTechnica 350 condenser mic. Will this be a good option to give it a boost for mobile recording, or would another mic be better altoget?**
A: Yes! I actually use it on my Aston Origin large Condensers!  I prefer Aston because they’re the lowest priced condenser mic that has almost no floor noise/ White noise or hiss. Which can get in the way if you recording sounds of nature. Good luck.

**Q: Which fethead do I need for the SM58?**
A: Regular fet head since a sm58 does not need power.

**Q: If i add the phantom fethead, with my scarlett 2i2 audio interface (that provides 48v phantom power), will it increase mic power to my cardiod mic?**
A: If you have a dynamic or ribbon microphone, yes!  I have used this exact combination to great effect

**Q: Will this model work on a condenser tube microphone?**
A: Yes, this is made for any low output powered mics (condenser) since it allows power to pass through to run the mic. The other Fetheads are made for dynamic mics.

Pierwsze próby wypadły pomyślnie. Zoom H5 ma słaby przedwzmacniacz i w zestawieniu z SM7B generuje duże szumy. Bez Fetheada gain na wejściu rejestratora musi być ustawiony na 7-8.
