CTM® Unisex Leather Travel Shoulder Wallet, Black

The media could not be loaded.  This ain't no pleather leather.... this is Real Authentic Leather. It's very well made and I like the minimalistic design. Two pockets and that's it. I bought this for it's versatility and use both under a jacket and just over a shirt, as well as it's ability to carry a 7" tablet PC. I wonder why no accessory maker has not thought about making customized Shoulder Holsters to specifically fit these far more portable devices. As we're being told that larger screen'd smartphones even, are in our future.Although this is far from perfect for my intended use, it does an excellent job of not only serving my purpose, but what it's really intended for. That is to get the wallets, change keys and other junk out of our pants pockets. I've tried several of these type things in local stores and it's like they're designed to only look fancy w/ rivets, buckles and bows to make them look pretty, instead of actually be functional. The prices on most of these others including Goldspun is higher than it really should be if you include the sometimes exorbitant shipping costs. Along with the fact that they are simply just too bulky for minimal usage. The price on this particular unbranded Holster Wallet is excellent and this seller shipped promptly and did not overcharge for shipping.But... for any would be designers? Come on get your act together and recognise what is offered to consumers needs to fit more than just to look good. It has to be functional so as to make a person want or need to use it for other than my agent spoof video. Traits for Tablets that I would include:a.) Angled pocket (like a pistol grip) that would position the tablet end for easy access. To be pulled out with a pull strap!b.) If like with Nexus 7, it has a magnetic screen turn on and activate, thin mechanism for that function. Otherwise the screen comes on at times when you don't need it.c.) Of course I'd include a gathering strap capable of being positioned in the center of the back. Otherwise the upper strap will rub the user's neck in active use.d.) Another excellent idea is make two distinct designs for both Men and Women. One more for what a woman might carry and designed to look the part. One like this that shows a distinctive air of masculinity in it's design.Finally: if you decide to buy this offering from this seller, realize that it's sent in minimalist packaging to make it cheaper for you. It could also need some adjustments. Like the right arm straps could need to be rotated on the rivets so as to make them functional. The buckle appears to be broken or malfunctioning. This is not the case. It's completely functional for it's purpose.Measurements: Inner arm diameter around the shoulder = about 17"Length from arm pit to bottom of pocket = 7.5"Main Pocket = flap to bottom 5.5"Width = 5"Right arm straps = 23" and 18" so you should be able to surmise if it will fit you. Keep in mind I'm just under 6' and around 175lbs. If you're close to that maybe as much as 190lbs, than it should work. If not either Amazon or the seller will take the return. But you can't very well use that as an excuse now.... can you? ;-PSo as always you can buy with confidence from Amazon. Although I really wish this seller offered Amazon Prime, because it's just so fast & with the benefits (like movies) is what I look for first. The shoulder holster arrived today. The leather is soft. The wallet is good quality - especially for the price point. It also seems sturdy enough. Time will tell. Also, there is a strong "shoe polish" odor if that might bother you. I'm hoping it goes away quickly..You'd think it would be straight forward to put it on - especially since I had a similar one as a young man that somehow disappeared over the years. Anyway, not so. Looking at the description on how to put it on it turns out that what you read isn't for this wallet. For example, there is no elastic strap and there is no loop to attached to your belt (not that I would). As it turns out, the leather straps that reaches across to your other shoulder to help keep the wallet on came oriented in the wrong direction (and the rivets connecting it were very tight and hard to rotate 180 degrees like they needed to be). The funny thing is all the pictures associated with this wallet turn out to have these straps pointing in the wrong direction! You'll notice, there are no pictures of it being worn. Once I took care of fixing the straps I was able to put it on easily.Size - lot's of people talk about the size. I'm 5'10" - 190 pounds - wear a 42 regular. I don't think it would fit anyone bigger. It's comfortable enough and I have it on the largest hole it can be.

I had used a wallet holster about 14-years ago. It was one that my brother had bought at a luggage store and he paid about $50 for it. I had been on the lookout for something similar, but never really liked what I saw, both in-store and online. If the wallet was of good quality, the price reflected that. If the price was reasonable, the actual item was sometimes worth less than the price tag. When I came across this one I took a chance. It looked almost exactly as what I was looking for. The price was very affordable...in fact it seemed it might be too good to be true. I gambled. For the price I wasn't expecting what I received.This type of wallet is perfect for me when traveling and being that I am not a frequent flyer/traveler the quality I anticipated needed only to "stay together" for my vacation. What I received I was very pleasantly surprised. The leather quality is comparable as is the design and size. The adjustable strap is better than my brother's. This may be the last time I will need to buy one.Within about 10 days of ordering, I was surprised that it already arrived. The primary reason why I purchased this shoulder wallet was to conceal carry my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 when I am wearing a suit. My phone is too big and heavy to place in the breast pocket or any pocket of my suit jacket and trouser. This product fit the bill perfectly. The only flaw in the design was that I couldn't close the flap over the phone but that's ok because it's too difficult to open the flay anyway with my jacket on. So I tucked the flap into the pocket and I was able to easily slide my phone in and out. This wallet allowed me to carry my phone inconspicuously and comfortably when I am wearing my suit or a jacket/hoodie. There are no physical alterations needed to the item itself and it is well constructed.There are no instructions included but through trial and error I was able to figure out the best way to wear it comfortably. The back strap has to criss-cross in the back in order for cut of the wallet to align with your posture correctly. The simply adjust the holes as needed for snugness. I have found that the closer or snug the fit, the easier it is for me to remove my phone. If the fit was too loose, the wallet would move around too much for me to easily retrieve my phone.

Way to hot and sticky for summer use . Would be good if made with cloth matrial and without metal fasteners.
