This is a 2-liter hydration bladder with insulated tube that is ideal for hiking and hydration packs and is durable and practical for keeping you hydrated during outdoor activities.

I bought this bladder specifically for my ski trips as it comes with an insulated tube. The previous bladder I used did not come with an insulated tube and the water froze when going down the mountain. This bladder keeps the tube from freezing but the mouthpiece occasionally freezes and prevents the water from flowing. I would recommend keeping the mouthpiece covered and away from direct cold air. Otherwise, the bladder works great!

For $16, the hydration pack is with the price. The water is secured well. However, you need to wash the valve and tube several times in order to eliminate the aftertaste. I had to run soapy waters through the valve and rinsed it numerous of times before the taste went away. Once that went away, it’s all good! It’s only 4 stars, because I can’t take off the black insulator on the tube to wash and it. The insulator also doesn’t work on keeping the water in the tube and valve cool. I do like that the valve has a casing to protect from dirt.

Ordered this for my boyfriend to use at Disney. This was by far the best thing we brought for the trip. Better than the collapsing water bottles!! This was awesome, I ended up ditching my water bottle and sharing with him. Stays so cold even in 100 degree Florida weather. He just slipped it in his backpack and filled it up every now and then. The tubing was long enough to use comfortably, but not obnoxiously long. We followed the directions for first time cleaning (to get rid of the plastic smell) and it worked like a charm. Some baking soda and water and let it sit for about a day or so. Never once tasted or smelled like plastic again.
