This is a wonderful Snake for removing lots of gunk, hairs and black goo from your sink or bathtub, all you will genuinely need to use with it is a screwdriver or power drill and then you can go from there. also comes with a great pair of gloves and mini plastic snakes and also a metal small snake.

Works for me. I tested the longer drain snake before I unclogged anything. It did unclog the bathroom pipes. I dropped something in the bathroom wash sink and was able to use the grabber to get it out without detaching the pipes. Be sure to use a towel or something to clean the drain snake so it doesn't rust.

Appreciate the design that allows for easy manual operation and quick connect to a power drill if needed.

I was under the impression that the drill would automatically feed the cable down the drain, which it does not. Basically you have to push the cable through the drain until you hit the clog and then tighten the retaining screw and begin turning the handle. It's actually really easy to turn by hand which is good because when I tried to use the drill it kinked the cable almost making it unusable. I would have given it a higher rating but its hard to tell what you're getting from the description . My advice is buy one without the drill connection because it's cheaper.

As expected, for the occasional, clog close to the sink or tub. fair in quality

Full kit for all aspects of cleaning drain of my bathtub. Only wish the instruction booklet was printed in a font twice the size !!!

The plastic on the snake broke. It did not help solve my issue.

I have used thisdrain unblocker twice, once on a domestic kitchen sink blockage and the second tom on a sludge blockage on a water treatment system (septic tank) filter outlet. It worked brilliantly on both the light and heavy duty tasks! Well impressed - it has saved me callout fees of several times what it cost on just these two uses! Well impressed.

Out kitchen pipes are a mess of pipes/bends and always blocking. Drain block clearing liquids no longer work.This device enabled me, as a plumbing incompetent, to get a flexible clearing spring round multiple right angled bends and clear all the way to the drain. Saved a plumbing call out at the time and many in the future I am sure.Easy to use.

I wanted one for an outside rain water drain that was slow running. Arrived and it was easy to work out how to do it. Manually it was a bit slow to get the thing to move but with the drill attached I soon had the 7m out doing whatever it did. it cleared my slow running drain. I then uses soda crystals and vinegar solution in the drain. Followed by a hot water flush. Redid the 7m drill auger and now all good. So I saved some money calling out plumbers and it is good to go for next time or for other drains etc. Durability - prob good for the occasional job on own house.

Bit sceptical at first TBH. Kitchen sink drainage absolutely rammed after building work. Made the mistake of not replacing pipe...Tried my "go to" solution for clearing blockages, caustic soda. It just laughed at it, despite using 2 kg of caustic soda in total (over 3 attempts).Didn't read the instructions properly at first, and this didn't work. Waste of Money thought I... Wrong!!!Read them again and it worked a treat, despite the blockage being over 3 away!Can't comment on durability, only used it once - hope I don't need to use again mind...Highly recommended

Got my item today, I wanted to put it to use right away and so read the instructions carefully and followed them step by step!!! Totally useless, when you manually turn the handle in the direction indicated the rod does not extend [and yes I loosened the screw on the end to enable it to extend], so I attached a battery operated drill as per the instructions and exactly the same thing the rod did not extend. It also would not go down the shower plug hole. The shower plug hole goes straight down about 4 inches and then does a sharp right angle turn, this rod would not bend sufficiently to make the right turn. The little plastic sleeves provided to place on the end of the rod to reduce scratching to the plastic pipes are of no use either, They are far too long and I had to cut them down and then having followed the instructions on how to attached them, they came off immediately on trying to push the rod down the plug hole!!DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS ITEM IT DOESN'T DO WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TIN!!!
