I currently have 8 of these shadow boxes (16x20) and use them for wall displays of rare and oversized books. They function well and are a fair value for the price. The display swing-arm door is real glass and the wood is well finished. Also, the magnets set in the right-side door frame do a good job of holding the door closed. Every now and then I've received a variation where the finish had only one coat applied and the interior side of the door was missing some reinforcement but I've been able to have them exchanged. As you can see in the attached pic's, they hang well. On the vertical display pic' you may have noticed the addition of support brackets that are not on the horizontal displays. This is because the books in the vertical display are 12, 18, and 11 pounds respectively, and I live just down the hill from San Andreas Lake (lots of earthquakes here). However, the mounting kit that comes with the shadow boxes is perfectly adequate for anything under 7-8 pounds (IMO).

The shadowbox came and it was BETTER than I was expecting! I ordered it to put some of the items that were on a wreath, that was purchased for my son's funeral. The wreath was beautiful, but through the years it was getting dusty and needed something done with it. So. I found this shadow box and it worked out just great. I was able to keep the things that were on the wreath and arrange them in the box. It is very pretty and will always be a special memorial of him.

Got this box after I measured the piece that is to go in it. Unfortunately it does not fit so I have to make adjustments on the shadow box to get it to fit. Too much hassle to get it returned and reorder something else and I need to complete by project deadline.

The shadow box is well made and functions as it should. It arrived quickly and in excellent condition. It is as it was described. It is easy to modify for your needs. The end result was exactly as I wished it would be.

The frame was in 2 pieces, WAS NOT ASSEMBLED correctly, was PRETTY UNHAPPY.
