My car requires 7 quarts of oil.  Will you package the oil as 7 quarts or will I have to purchase 2 cases?  Thanks

You must buy a 7th quart. I usually order the case and buy the 7th locally. It works better than storing the remaining 5 quarts.

For a 2017 Volkswagen Golf 1.8L Turbo vehicle, according to Castrol’s Lubrication Recommendation Guide, it says oil meeting the Audi/VW Spec 502 00, 503 00 & 504 00 is required for use in SAE 5W-30 & 5W-40 in all temperatures.

Current Castrol engine oil/s sold retail which meet/s the  oil specification and is/are available in the recommended SAE viscosity class is/are listed below and may be used in your application:

Castrol EDGE 5W-30 C3
Castrol EDGE 5W-30 LL

Castrol always recommends following the guidelines of the engine manufacturer for the recommended oil (i.e. SAE grade, API rating and manufacturer specifications) specific to your application. This information can always be found in the owner’s manual or by contacting the manufacturer directly. Before using any lubricant, ensure that the lubricant product specifications meet or exceed the lubricant specifications required by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for that specific use.

How many miles can i run this oil?

This depends on your car and your conditions. I use this oil on an 8000 mile interval. I have used oil analysis at blackstone labs to show that at around 10,000 miles in my car the additives and stabilizers begin to break down and suggested I could go 12,000 miles. I decided that a yearly oil change would work and that's 8,000 miles give or take for me.
