The Avenger is notable for me because it's an STO ship not based on a discovery ship, that also sticks to the STO color scheme. To that end, it looks great.But, its saucer section is mostly plastic, and feels a bit hollow. It does feel sturdy despite that, and it also fits well on its stand, but that hollow sensation when I hold it is just so noticeable.The Avenger also seems a bit small. The ship doesn't have a single neck that connects the saucer to the main body (Like the Enterprise D), but instead has two necks with a gap between them. There's actually a hollow space in the middle that would look pretty cool. Except that the ship is tiny, and that section is so small that it's hard to notice.Maybe it was the design from STO, but I think Eaglemoss could have done this one a little better. Still, it's a solid ship, and it certainly looks cool.Lastly, another reviewer has mentioned that the magazine's stats are not accurate in some way. I feel the need to say, "Who cares?" No one is buying the model to get the online game's stats. Buyers are going to fall into 3 categories.1. Those who don't play STO and don't care. These people, obviously don't care.2. Those who do play STO and do not know the stats. These people are going to get the stats online from a wiki.3. Those who do play STO and already know the stats. These people do not need a book reminder.That the magazine doesn't give accurate stats of something from a game that's being constantly updated doesn't seem like something you should fault Eaglemoss on.

I love all the Star Trek Eaglemoss Collectable ships. I admit they are designed more for a nitch audience. I am that nitch. I simply have a passion for all things Star Trek especially all their fantastic ships. I currently own a pretty fair size collection of these Eaglemoss ships. They are well packaged and look nice on the stand. I do admit they are a little pricey. But I still love collecting these ships.

This one caught my eye and was the first purchase I made. I now have 4 different ships, Avenger, Voyager, Enterprise NX-01, and Equinox. I wish there was more information on this ship online, but the book that came with it is pretty good.This one is my favorite of all, I think because it's not been seen on any Star Trek series or movie (online game only).

The ship looks accurate. I'm a little concerned about, what looks like, some wear and tear on the paint already, and I've only had it out for a day. Otherwise, good looking ship. I was hoping for a 50% off a T6 ship code, like what was included with the Chimera, but oh well.

I don't play Star Trek Online, but I liked the look of the Avenger-class, so I decided to add her to my collection. I'm quite pleased with the ship now that I can look her over up close. Lots of detail, excellent fit and molding. She looks good alongside the rest of the collection on the shelf.

This is a Mini Model! Do not think this is a Good Size! It is very very small! It is definitely detailed but very small! I had to laugh when I first got it because I thought it was a Joke for the price! But I will keep it for good memories and a Laugh!
