Good Camera but Price Makes You Think Twice
Image quality is good. The only thing that I don't like is the extreme fisheye. Colors WB exposure etc all good. The sound is good it's better than most. The lcd screen is nice but it only flips out. It doesn't rotate so you can't see yourself. Don't know why they didn't fix this simple thing. It would also protect the screen better. Menu navigation is simple and straightforward. It comes with a pistol grip and a flat lens for underwater use. The image stabilization is good it's one of the better ones. There is no difference between this international model and a US version so save yourself about $100. I already wrote a review for this but it disappeared and to get this off my review list I'm writing this quicky. My 1st review was a little more detailed.

Way too small for average adult fingers
Controls are too small for an average adults fingers. They blend in and are hard to find especially in the dark. And you better be a computer whiz to figure out how to see what you recoded. Will be sending mine back. Too bad, has everything I was looking for in an action camera

It's a specialist camera without bankrupting anyone
I don't understand the reviews whinging about zoom or macro etc. The description of the features are clear it's designed for outdoor use where it's likely to take knocks, film at times you would not be able to spend time setting up a shot or faffing with zoom in and out. This is not a general purpose camera.....Compared to a GoPro which is in the same market this one is reasonably priced, doesn't need a waterproof case and can take a bit of a battering. It's profile when attached to a helmet or handlebars is more streamlined but is not ideal on a chest harness where a more boxy design would be better... strap it to a dog harness and you get great shots without worrying about the dog jumping in a pond after the ducks.I've been using cameras and video recorders since mid 80s and use an SLR for stills macro, portraits or special occasions, use a standard camcorder for video in same circumstances. I use a waterproof housing for underwater shots when time is not an issue. But I use this action camera when out and about hiking, cycling, even walking the dog in all the lovely British weather. To catch "the action" the fisheye lens has the advantage of allowing you to focus on safely scrambling up a rockface without worrying where the lens is pointing, it allows you to get on with enjoying whatever outdoor activity it is, rather than constantly worrying about the camera. The picture quality when used as an action camera is very good, but by comparison to my DSLR with detachable lenses. .. then it does not compare, I would not expect it to.My advice with any camera or tech purchase is be honest with what you will use it for, and buy an item that fits your needs and price range..... read the specs....and don't just impulse buy .... if you are just wanting to use it on the annual family holiday go for a GoPro copy for around 50 quid...or get a warterproof case for your smart fone. There is always a trade off with tech particularly cameras...

Not too bad as a camera but not a complete dash-cam solution.
On the plus side -The camera appears very durable (although I've not tested this out in any way). The user interface is relatively intuative. The camera has a standard mounting screw hole making it easy to mount on my bike. The GPS and sensor data is recorded into a different file from the movie, so at least this data is easily accessible.BUT -The software is beyond terrible. Whoever decided that an app for a mobile device (android or iOs) was the way to go in order to make use of the GPS / sensor data should be summarily dismissed. The app (iOs) is slow (I got tired of waiting for a 30 minute (4gb) file to import, so I left it running overnight, buggy (it appears to hang completely with little to no user feedback when importing) and has few useful features (really, creating a movie with overlaid sensor data is the only useful feature). The software for the PC (or mac) is even worse. Olympus Viewer 3 is a complete waste of space. I don't need yet another image organizer program. It will display the GPS & sensor data (if recorded) from the camera overlaid on a map on the screen but this appears to be the only use the computer software makes of the advanced features. Consequently, the camera is far from a complete solution and additional software must be purchased (RaceRender is the only one I have found that supports the Olympus version of NMEA).The way the WIFI feature is implemented is beyond stupid - the way the app and WIFI works means that you must connect to the camera (as an access point) to import a file which is a) beyond slow and b) if you have iCloud backup switched on, will consume vast quantities of data (in my case 8gb which was my entire monthly allowance!)TO BE CLEAR -UNLESS YOU HAVE UNLIMITED DATA ON YOUR PHONE, DO NOT HAVE ANY AUTO-BACKUP ENABLED OR YOU WILL USE *VAST* QUANTITIES OF CELLULAR DATA.Olympus - If you look at these reviews, sort your software out. The PC software should be able to produce the same overlaid files as the mobile apps.

TG Tracker
Used this a lot on holiday, in and out of the Pool, and in the sea snorkling in St Lucia, on sailing boats etc... The included gun grip was great making easier to handle, and the mirror in the front was useful for the selfies, and great in the bright sun as the view finder was not so easy to see through in bright light and could not rotate forward. The only down sides is the method of switching between Still and Movie mode, this takes too long so I ended up leaving the camera in movie mode the whole time, It would have been better with one button to switch between, it would also be good if the camera had a zoom mode which it does not, intuitively you are wanting to zoom with the left and right arows which turns on the light. Although I will probably be able to zoom, crop and edit later on my computer. This camera is great in and out the water in low light level, the front spot light is a cree LED which is super bright, and we ended up using the spot light for the wedding couples first dance, as nobodies cameras were picking the couple up in the dark and this camera could without the spotlight although the spot light allowed other camera's to function. It has a very compact fast charger, I had bought 2 spare batteries to use with the camera but didn't use these as the cameras main battery was more than sufficient, I used a micro 64gb class 10 card and recorded in 1080 which gave me 7 hours and 4K gave me 3 hours. This was very rugged so much so that I was happy to let my cousins 3 year old son have a go with filming.

Very good action camera for the right circumstances
I have had this camera for over a year now and like others did not read the write ups as closely as I should have done. The first thing to say is that the fisheye effect is - in my opinion - too extreme! There is an option to reduce it for diving and I have set it permanently to that just recently. I spent quite a while trying to find good software to get rid of fisheye and only recently found something on ‘Steam’ website called liquivid Video Fisheye Removal. This only costs £7 or thereabouts and contains profiles for many ACTION CAMERAS including the TG TRACKER. You can also manually alter the distortion using the software. I think that Olympus should have included their own software to remove fisheye as GoPro have done in an app. The buttons are very small, awkward and from my viewpoint not quite as intuitive as I would like. I forget what does what if I put it away for a month or two. I have got lost in the menus trying to find stuff and have been quite frustrated at times. There have been some occasions when the videos have been upside down on the small screen and the only solution was to reset the camera and setup from scratch. On one occasions no sound was recorded and I again reset to put this right. Now I’ll admit it could have been me pressing wrong buttons! I find that I have to attach the handle to use it easily in my hand it’s just too fiddly without the handle! I bought the case that they manufacture themselves and let me say straight away keep the case instructions if you get one as it is a complex little beast. When I first had it the wireless app on my android phone it was awful but it has improved a lot over the past 12 months and it works almost every time now. The IOS app on my iPad seems to be better in terms of wireless connection and reliability. The video quality is very good and clear with great colours. I have played them back on a 4K tv and been very pleased. The build quality is very high. All things considered this is an excellent optical instrument best used in action scenarios and perhaps not so good in other situations.

A Robust Action Camera.
This is a good looking robust action camera. It boasts several modes. Video, Stills Timelapse. and on camera playback on built in screen. In my original review I only gave this Camera 1 Star. There was a problem accessing the home page and so the camera modes were not available. I contacted Amazon about the matter and their response was superb. Within a few hours they had dispatched a replacement which was with me in 48 hours. That camera appeared to have the same fault. I contacted Olympus Customer Support and had a swift response from them. The replacement camera is now working correctly. The various modes on the Camera are quickly accessed and it is easy to set the camera up. The recording quality is excellent. The Menu and Mode Buttons are close together and necessarily small. When pressing the mode button I have to be very careful not to clip the menu button at the same time. On my camera this prevents access to the homepage. I own a Gopro Camera and nearly all the mounts for that fit this one.I think this camera is excellent value and gives good results.I now have no hesitation in giving 5 stars.
