Feldherr Foam Tray Set Compatible with Star Wars Imperial Assault Board Game Box

I purchased this after reading some reviews discussing how sleeved cards will not fit well, so I also purchased alternative solutions for all other game components.Simply put, this is excellent if all you are using it for is to store figures. After some creative solutions for the booster packs, I have my entire core set and boosters stored in a single box (excluding General Weiss), while I store my sleeved cards, tiles, and tokens (mostly) separately. This is an excellent way to store your minis, though there's no good way to store General Weiss in the box because this was mainly designed for the core set only.

Pros - every playing piece fits nicely and is well-protected, the design is well-organized, a great way to easily find any piece you are looking for.Cons - the foam inserts are barely too tall for the box so the lid will never slide all the way down, and the bottom insert appears flimsy before you put in all of the terrain pieces.Overall, a great organizer for a decent price. I don't usually spend more money on inserts/organizers on already expensive games, but for me, this one was worth the price.

Really like the foam and its ability to hold figures. However as with all these cases there is a fine line with the cards. I'm sure this holds unsleeved cards fine. However I think the type of person that purchases this item to protect their components is also the type of person who sleeves their cards. And I do not recommend it if you sleeved the cards. I sleeved mine in Fantasy Flight recommended sleeves and they just catch in the pores of the foam. I might recommend a more solid plastic surround in the card storage areas. But it does not all go to waste as I will use those areas for additional figures from Ally/Villain packs but 4 stars as the photos are a little misleading on the card capacity which do appear sleeved.

I love the Feldherr foam trays. I initially bought the rebel X-Wing case and now this one for imperial assault. The trays fit in the imperial assault box and holds everything well. You cannot close the box fully with the trays in place, especially if you add the topper, so if your ocd about a half cm gap on the lid over the box then maybe consider something else. For me though, I spent a lot of time painting my minis and this was a fairy inexpensive way to protect them.

This organizer is perfect and I feel like it's a great value. The quality and utility is excellent. It immediately helped me organize my core set in a way that felt 100% improved. I highly recommend this for a more economic choice of organization, compared to other options.

The miniature storage is great, but the insert DOES NOT fit into the entire box. It requires that the box top sits about an inch or two off the top of the box itself; something I absolutely hate.Besides that, the insert is okay. My main problem is sliding cards back in because the corners get stuck on the foam very easily. Also, there isn't a nice system for storing the dozens of tokens and counters in the game, which means you either use a plastic bag or just turn the insert upside down and dump them all out.It's okay. For $20~ it's not bad. Broken Token's insert is more expensive but more comprehensive and has better trays and is easier to use with your cards.

Keeps miniatures protected

This is great - fits perfectly in the box as described. It would be nice if it game with some instructions about which bits to put where in some cases - but it's not really THAT hard to figure something out - even if it's not the originally intended layout (I had two spare sections in mine).And the foam quality is great, as it always is with Feldherr.

This is an excellent insert for the Star wars imperial Assault base game. it sticks out a little as with the game guides that come with the games make them protrude (not very much) but still awesome.Hope they make one for the new expansion that has been released.If you need some storage solution for your game then I would recommend this fits everything that come's in the box in the inserts.

Great for protecting all of the components within the Imperial Assault core game.The lid of the box does not sit flush but I prefer knowing that the figures inside are well protected.Plenty of space for all of the components, I now need to start looking at a similar option for the expansions :)

Great for purpose but I do think it's costly for foam. My son was very happy with it though

Ideal for storing and protecting all the game components once opened. As others have said, with books etc, the lid will no longer sit flush to the box once closed so takes up slightly more shelf space, but a very minor irritant.
