nice trackball, aggressive ergo
If you need aggressive ergo for your wrists this might be the one. I found the logitech more comfortable so favor that as daily driver, but this one has it uses. The extra ergo makes this one nice for .. well it really grabs your hand without looking .. so if you needed multiple mice for a project I think the ergo on this would have advantages in fast to grab onto. Or if you needed like a controller mount on a chair arm or special location. the way it sticks up from desk is.. different and it's.. okay, but not my first choice. The way the ball pops out to clean rolling bearings is neat, because extra height instead of a hole is button (built on push bar) that pops ball out, so no fishing around for tool or item to do the job.standard build quality, generic plastic injected parts, but performance/function seems great.good trackball at good price, I feel most comfortable with lower ergo but didn't dislike this, was happy using it and took me awhile to decide which ergo i liked better.

My trackball had to be worn in!
First off I think the Kensington Orbit is the best trackball made and I've used one for years - but, my physical therapist said I should switch to a vertical mouse to stop aggravating my tennis elbow. After looking at so many I can't remember, I really don't want to switch from a trackball and I know Kensington to be good. So I bought this one, wired is always better for tracking and I like the looks of all the extra buttons. The smaller trackball is a big disappointment after the Orbit, the best trackball I've every had, nice and large for accuracy. This trackball is noticeably smaller, and is used with the thumb. The other big issue is it took days for something that was catching the ball to wear away. At first I thought I was going to have to return it, but I thought I'd wait out the weekend. It drove me crazy at first, always jerking the pointer. It finally went away by the end of the weekend and the tracking is smooth now. The only other issue I'm having is getting the software to mimic the speed and smooth glide of the Orbit. After a lot of fiddling, I think I have it close, but it probably won't ever be as good as the larger Orbit trackball. The software for the Mac is okay, kind of clunky, and there is one button it doesn't map, but I've seen worse.I'd say it has taken a good four days for it to loose the hang-up and for me to get used to another trackball setup.

Good mouse, annoying buttons for my hands.
I like this mouse. It is comfortable and the track ball works nicely. It slides around a little more than I would like on my desk. (I need to get a pad or something to help keep it in place) otherwise when I grab it, the mouse moves. I also have a bad habit of reaching too low with my thumb to use the mouse and push the two buttons on the side of the mouse by the track ball. I like that I can reprogram the buttons, but when I did that I regularly pushed those buttons on accident.I used this mouse on a Mac. I like it a lot. Been working well for a few months already.

short wire
well you would think for a 60$ wired trackball mouse they would provide a regular lengthy wire. nope..... its short. very short.unless you use it right next to your laptop directly your out of luck.I had to go get a usb extension cable.so this mouse is on a more tilted angle compared to the more traditional thumb trackballs.I do not like it. plus the scrolling wheel is not on the same angle and your fingers wants to go in a different angle when scrolling.I just started using this today. If I change how I feel about all this ill come back and update.long story short I wish I just ordered my usual replacement trackman wheels.my old old logitech is a classic and sold for over 200$ used now. it beats all the new ones. not sure why its so hard to make quality products anymore. it lasted me a decade.the other ones similar in shape last me maybe 6months to a year.

Would be great if it'd stop flinging the cursor around randomly.
I like Logitech's trackballs but I don't understand their obsession with making them wireless. They just sit on the desk, they don't move, they don't need to be wireless via a tiny USB dongle that gets no range, so I then have to buy an extension cord to route the dongle close to the mouse to avoid dropouts. And wireless means I have to worry about charging batteries. Utterly stupid for a mouse that doesn't need to be moved to use it.So when I saw this wired mouse, I picked it up. If it worked well it could get rid of all the unnecessary frustrations caused by Logitech's wireless nonsense. I do find that the mouse works well, except for one fatal flaw: it occasionally just flings the mouse in some random direction that I wasn't rolling the ball in. It doesn't happen terribly often, but it happens enough to be really annoying that it's happening. Otherwise, the mouse buttons click well (having the buttons wear out is another problem with Logitech), I find the mouse itself quite comfortable, and having the button to pop the ball out for cleaning is much nicer than the small holes that you need to find a thin pen to stick through. I want to keep using this mouse, but not if it keeps randomly flinging the pointer around.I'm going to exchange it for a new one. I hope I just got a dud, and they're not all like this. I want to like it, I want to keep using it. I'll update regarding how the replacement goes.EDIT MAY 10, 2022: I got the replacement. Worked perfectly for about a week. Then the cursor started flying across the screen at random again. Returning it for a refund this time, going back to Logitech. Shame, I really wanted to keep using this instead.
