Can you mix it with oil?

Yes, I mix mine with 100% pure, cold pressed Almond Oil and a leave-in conditioner. I have 4b hair, so I use a heavy leave-in conditioner. My hair is 20" long, for which I use ~1 tbsp of each ingredient mixed together applied after washing (do not rinse). Then, since I braid my hair, I also make a mixture of raw shea butter, black castor oil, and peppermint oil to add before braiding. Since using Chebe, my hair has passed it's previous length threshold by 3 inches.

Yes you can use on braided hair. It’s a product you rinse out and use every 5 days . It can also be used as cream base also . Treat it as a regular hair product going into hair . Then on wash day rinse out . It can be a bit messy depending on how you use it . But I think it’s a great product I luv it for hair growth.

I have natural locks. I don't have hair growth issues, but I want to try this. I don't want to take my locks out. I'm now worrying about the grit tho?

I have locs, too and your instincts are right. It's gritty and you will have to soak your locs to get it out. I threw mine out. I watched the videos of those long -haired women and thought it would be cool, but they've been doing it for many years, it's a cultural thing and my journey with it did not last. You also need lots of oil and that will cause build up on locs so you'll be putting greasy dirt in your locs. Good luck
