While this is not same brand (Panchavati 2inch sticks) I had purchased during my "visit" to the Middle East 2003-2004 I can say this brand is just as potent. I would recommend using only partial stick for small areas. Pros: - strong perfumed scent - lingering distinctive, pleasant smell - Purchase was packed well, sticks were undamaged. Cons: - None Side note: People complain Dhoop sticks don't fit their traditional incense burners. Dhoop does not use a wooden stick. It is similar to the cone type incense but won't stand on its own... There is an included holder, the metal ring, on each box of Dhoop Sticks. Leave the ring on the box. Do not attempt to remove this ring and then burn the Dhoop stick in the ring... it will not stand on its own.. Otherwise, you can use a small piece of clay on a flame retardant surface, or stand the Dhoop stick in a shot-glass size container of sand, salt, or any other non flammable substance. Oh, and PLEASE blow the flame out once a glowing ember has been established... these are NOT candles.

I love these dhoop sticks. It had a very earthy wood scent and similar smell to Nag Champa but different. So if you like that you’ll appreciate the woody and sandalwood type scent for this one. The smoke spreads and fills up a room well, and removes any odor there was which I love. Again this is more for people who enjoy the stronger scent of incense and love the consistent smoke (burn) of it.

The plastic grommet on the side (the erstwhile incense holder) is the right size for the miniature sized sticks from these fellows but only half the diameter needed for these sticks. You need to get a vertical holder for these. Nice cookie-floral scent that lingers. Burns through in about 15 minutes.

This is by far one of my favorite scents of incense, it has a seriously strong smell, but extremely pleasant. The scent lingers in the room all day after you burn just a small part of a stick. Dhoop sticks are the perfect way to add a lot of scent to a room real quick. You can break each stick up like three times so you get a lot for the money. Nag Champa is still my #1, but this incense rocks too!

1/4th of the sticks in the packets were already broken on arrival. Could be because of how it was handled during packaging or shipping. Even the ones which came intact easily break even under small pressure while trying to put them in hole provided in the box for holding them. You have to handle them very very delicately to prevent breaking. Smell is good and smoke from burning is low/acceptable level.

Ive never seen moldy incense until I ordered from these people. Absolutely terrible and possible health hazard if I did burn them. I noticed immediately when I cut the plastic off something was wrong. Smells musty and nasty with white fuzzy mold all over.

Love it. Been ordering it for years. Clean burning, lasting uplifting scent. Short sticks last a surprising amount of time.
