Beautiful color purple and soft; these towels are great quality too. Would buy again!

I loved the color

The towels wash beautifully. Bath sheet is quite large. Hand towels are perfect size. They seem to get softer after each wash (washed more than a dozen times so far). No fraying and all towels are well stitched. Going to purchase another set in a complimentary color. The reason for the 4 star is because of the decorative ribbing (lines of stitching). This area is very rough on the body. Of course you can avoid this area when drying hands, but the bath sheets take some maneuvering to avoid. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase.Product quality update information. Approximately 5 months ago 2 hand towels faded with sporadic yellow spots. Since I had 8 hand towels I was able to switch them out for visitors. Last week the remaining (6) came out with same fabric defect. All the towels were washed together with HE Tide detergent. I never use bleach. The bath sheets at this writing are in perfect condition and they were laundered with the hand towels. The rating today (08/26/15) is 1 star at best.

I ordered these in burgandy, washed them with two cups of white vinegar added to the detergent and wash water in the tub, then added the towels, and put them through a normal cycle with a bit of fabric softener. They came out fluffy and absorbent. Today's towels are treated to resist insects and stains in the manufacturing/shipping process, so it's important to remove that protective coating from the fabric before using, and a regular wash just won't do it. Sheets also have this coating. For me, it irritates the skin, so I wash everything new in this manner. It also helps to set the color.The towels are of good quality and a nice thickness. Wash cloths are generously sized. I like them a great deal and will order more. When you consider the price of a similar towel at a major department store, these are a bargain. At Macy's, I priced similar wash cloths this weekend at a sale price of $6.34 per cloth. It seems that there are some discrepancies in the quality of different colors of these towels, so you might want to read through the reviews for the particular color before purchasing. I'm very satisfied with this purchase...very nice for the price.

I was given an Amazon gift card and decided to treat myself to hand towels. I didn't think I needed 8 of them, but since they were in essence, free, I went ahead and ordered them. At first I though I wanted peach but then saw these linen colored towels that perfectly matched one of the colors in my shower curtain. As you can see in the photo, the towels are thick enough; 5 of them stack higher than 6 of the green towels. The dark green ones are fairly new too. They are also soft enough for me.These towels wash well; I have not seen threads coming loose. The tags are different. Instead of hanging down (or sticking out) the tags are sewn across, creating a "loop", which I imagine if being hung on a hook makes them easier to hang. I recommended these towels to a friend and if I ever need more towels, I wouldn't hesitate to buy from this company again.

Thick, plush, 100% cotton, as advertised. Absorbency okay but not great. For some reason, perhaps because of a lower grade of cotton or the addition of chemicals for durability or color fasting, bathroom towels of whatever label, material, or grade don't seem to be as absorbent as they used to be.

Pkg was not closed and towels had a bad order. Missing a washcloth. Snags very easily. Cheap material. I haven’t washed them yet. I will wash them separately because threads may get on other items. The color is not Sage. Yes, it’s green but I wouldn’t considerate Sage. It is not what the photo showed. I cannot believe I spent over $46 on this set. I am disabled and it’s hard for me to get someone to take pkg to Return.

I just received the towels and I'm disappointed. They're soft, but not heavy or thick. The biggest reason I'm disappointed is they're not like the picture. As pictured in the ad, they have a shiny red border around the edges that makes them look flashy. As you can see in my picture that is not what they sent. Not the color shown either, these are more of a wine color with a slight purple-ish hue. I know they say color can vary based on phone screen settings, so that didn't go towards my rating. They're decent towels and a good price, that's why I still gave it 3 stars. I'm happier with the heavier and softer towels I bought at Walmart 6 years ago that these were supposed to replace. I intend to return these.
