Look no further if you need a good tank switch!
Please note: The instructions don’t mention installing a filter between each tank and the switching device! I ruined my first one because of debris in my tank that jammed the valve and caused the coil to fail with the switch in between tanks. I know better! It’s a single mechanism with two separate valves and an auxiliary switch for either switching float valves or installing an indicator lamp, which I did. If the switching device fails between tanks this aux switch is open, so no indicator lamp or no gauge means failed. Make no mistake, every failure in these reviews is exactly this! Customer failed to use common sense and install a pre-filter between each tank and the device. I have two water separators feeding my new switching device and it’s working flawless!

Not a high quality unit
Failed after a few months of use. Instructions were great. Worked well for a while but when it failed it was hard to diagnose. The first thing to fail was the return line stopped switching when i switched tanks. It was filling one tank from the other. I thought my truck was burning fuel way too fast. Then i was going crazy or someone was messing with me when one tank was always way past full. I started thinking I had a bad sending unit. This failure cost me 2 days work to remove it from the system and return my truck to stock. Sevral days lost in the install, uninstall and work around to make use of the 2nd tank.

Good for 2 tanks, fuel injected or not.
Excellent kit. I only needed to add 2 bolts to hold the valve where I mounted it and I also had to the wire to reach everything. If power is lost to the valve, it remains on the selected tank. This is a great all-in-one kit if you have a vehicle with 2 tanks that requires feed & return lines to each tank. If you have a returnless fuel system, you can leave the included caps on the return ports and have an option to later add return if desired. The fuel supply ports fit a 3/8" ID fuel hose correctly and the fuel return ports fit a 5/16" ID fuel hose correctly. The included instructions are very good.
