I bought these shoes to wear on vacation in Europe were the fashion is a little more dressy than here in the States so I wanted a comfortable shoe other than a sneaker as I knew we'd be doing a lot of walking. This was the perfect option! The upper is genuine leather with allows for breathing and expansion and the so is made of nice non slip rubber that made for easy maneuvering on the cobblestone streets and sidewalks. The insole is a nice soft material that cushioned my feet. These shoes not only look nice they are very comfortable to walk in. I usually take a 9.5 and I ordered a 9.5 and the fit was perfect. I am very happy I bought them!

I bought a pair of these more than 15 yrs ago and they are my absolute favorite shoes to wear with dress pants. It was terrible when the sole finally have out and Clark's was out of stock for more than a year. Finally I was able to get a new pair! They are the best for my feet. Comfortable, quality, classic look.

Good quality and nice look, but they run really small and narrow. Go up a FULL size. If you can get the right size that doesn't pinch your toes, then they are comfortable all day.

I have probably purchased a half dozen pairs of these over 6 years. I work in the medical field and was looking for something professional and slightly more stylish than the usual clog type shoes that many of my colleagues wear. They hold up well and clean easily and are very comfortable for all day use.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have worn, and my feet can finally breathe. I have pain in the ball of my foot, and sometimes after a workout the feet and first two toes would lock up and be painful. I had to sit down and massage to bring back the toes to the proper position. Most women's shoes are either stylish or comfortable. It is rare to find dress shoes that are both. I wondered if years of wearing dress shoes where toes have to be all scrunched up together might be causing the pain. Regular women's shoes invariably have a triangular/conical front. With the usual conical-foot design, the toes all need to be joined together at all times, and the foot ends up in an unnatural position because while the toes touch the shoe, the ball of the foot is unevenly placed.Decided to try wider shoes to see if my foot pain goes away. Chose Clark's shoes because they looked promising, with a wider non-conical front. Went ahead and ordered the 7.5 W instead of the usual 7.5 that I buy in other brands. While it fits great on right foot, its a bit wide on the left (and that's not the shoes' design, can't help it if feet aren't the same size). But finally, finally, at the end of the day when I change out of these shoes to go for my workout, my toes aren't locking up and there is no pain in the ball of the foot. My feet are comfortable all day, and I will tolerate the slightly loose left shoe for that. I wonder why they don't make women's shoes like this - comfortable and stylish, and meant for wider feet. Real women don't have conical feet or tapering feet. The natural foot shape is wider at the front. Wake up, shoemakers!! Why do women have to go through years of torture wearing unnaturally shaped tapered-front "stylish" shoes, or have to suffer with flat and ungainly shoes that make one's feet look like a duck's feet, just to be comfortable? With a little careful design and thought, shoes like these can be made!!

My other three clark shoes are all 8.5 W. I read the reviews and all said to order a smaller size so I did and this was still about 1" longer then my others. Ended going down one full size to 7.5 W and it fits perfect. Leather and sole are nice and are comfortable like all past clark shoes.

These shoes are surprisingly comfortable. The top edge of the shoe is a little high, and I expected it to hurt where it rubs against my ankle bone -- but it doesn't. I thought I would have to spend several days working up to being able to wear them all day, but I've worn them all day every day right from the start, and not had a problem.I actually have to buy shoes a half size too big because for some reason ALL of the shoe companies have stopped making shoes in my size -- which is a half size. I have found that if I get regular width, I can make the next size work, and this is the case with these. The heel area was very narrow at first, and when the heel slipped off, I had a hard time getting it back on. But I found that if I stepped carefully and slowly, it didn't slip off. Within a couple of days the heel had broadened out to where if it does slip off, my foot slips right back in without my having to pay much attention.The shoes are well constructed. They feel like they will last a long time. And they're pretty.

My Clark's May Marigold shoes arrived sooner than expected. I tried them on and am so pleased. They are sleek and stylish, great to wear with either dressy slacks or casual jeans. A bit of a wedge heel to give your calves a little work-out (I am 81 and need to challenge myself!). Cushiony, soft, and nice support.Ordered my customary size 10M. Right foot is perfect, left a bit loose. Don't know if it's my foot or the shoe. They will be fine in winter weather with a thicker pair of trouser hose.Thanks, Amazon, for carrying a wide assortment of Clark's at affordable prices. This is my third order, each a different style. I am sure I will order again.

I bought 6.5 W but it didn't fit. The shoes were so comfy I had to exchange though. I sized down to 6 and not wide and they fit perfect. They fit a bit small for me, yet the toe part is a bit long. Now with the new size I'm so happy. They are well made shoes. They don't make my feet sweaty. Perfect for work.

Very good value for money fits like a glove and very comfortable they do come from abroad but I have bought before and had no trouble

The shoes look good and leather is nice - insole very comfortable. The size 6.5 fits well. Hwr after an hr of walking, the joint at the big toe [MTP] tend to hurt slightly - hope that the leather will soften after more usage.
