This is the softest, silkiest shag rug I've ever seen! Couldn't believe it! It's so silky you can hardly feel it on your bare feet!It's has a slight blue cast to the grey, almost a gun metal color. I was expecting more of a charcoal color but I'm fine with the shade.Haven't washed it yet but being so light weight, I'm sure it won't be an issue. It does say NOT to dry in dryer.I have it under my coffee table, on wood floors. When I sweep or vacuum, I just pick it up and shake it outside. Very light. With limited mobility, bad shoulders, I am very happy with the weight. No problem with this rug. Being as light as it is, my vac sucked it off the floor. I can't imagine trying to vacuum it or the need to do so.It's a terrific rug, at a very affordable price, that lets you change up the look when you get bored. I bought it to go with inexpensive dark grey drapes and a multicolor loveseat cover and changed the whole look of my LR for next to nothing. Thank you Amazon!

I bought the 4’ circle rug for my 9 year old’s room. It’s the perfect size for her to stretch out and play on. Also it’s nicer to wake up to than cold wood floors in the morning.This is a cheap rug, but was better than I expected. The rubbery material on the bottom is similar to slipper/slipper sock non skid rubber. The rug itself is made of fuzzy slipper like material - probably polyester/plastic but very soft. It looks like it will survive a few washes, but we will try to wash minimally. I will probably hang dry and shake out to fluff - it doesn’t seem like it would survive the dryer well.Overall happy and I’d order it again. I wanted something machine washable because regular carpet/rugs that are spot cleaned are disgusting. My girlfriend really liked this rug and we may end up ordering one for our bedroom.Also, it’s chihuahua approved. Ours has been hanging out a lot more in my daughters room and has decided this rug is one of her many beds.

This is such a bang for you back! Super soft and light. It’s not a thick or plush rug so don’t expect that but it’s a perfect “throw rug” addition to a room with hardwood or tile. I just recently ripped up all my carpet and laid vinyl plank flooring and these rugs just warm it up! I read you can wash it but I’ve yet to try. It vacuums easily though! I actually bought one for my guest room and one for my sons. Definitely worth the money.

Very velvety soft, perfect white color, perfect size. Actually beautiful. Only draw back is it is very thin. I’ve not used yet but will be fine for staging my furniture.

I’ve been searching for a good sized area rug for a good price for awhile, and I am so glad I found this one! Don’t let the excellent, affordable price fool you, this is a quality made area rug! The edge stitching is strong, the pile is a nice and soft, and it feels cushy on your feet. The black goes perfect win my decor AND it’s washable! I highly recommend it and I will purchase more for other rooms in my home.

see pics- I have no idea why they push the "machine washable" aspect so hard in the branding when it does not wash well at all. Even the tag says no intended for repeated machine wash. The rug was a good price, nice cushion, and very soft. Then I finally machine wash on gentle (I have a new front loader) as instructed and hung to line dry inside on the shower rack. Oh MAN when it tried it looked like a scraggly homeless dog. The pile felt awful. I decided to take a wet brush to it going all all one direction then again in an opposite direction and it did help restore the softness quite a bit. But seriously, who wants to line dry and hand brush out a little play rug?! NOT IDEAL IF YOU WILL NEED TO WASH IT. Otherwise it's really good.Also my neato robot vacuum (like a roomba) has no issue going over it which is good.

Very soft and silky. Got 3'x5' for the side of my bed for sitting on the bedside or getting out of bed to stand, my feet feel much better than touching down on cold hard floor. It will fit in my super duty washer, gentle cycle, not recommended for multiple washes, also says no tumble drying. Bottom is spotted with slip resistant rubbery dots. Unrolled and unfolded without stubborn creases, laid flat right out of the box.

Have had this rug for three months now in my 11yr old bedroom.Honestly, exactly as I expected. It's a great kids room rug, considering the wear and stains it will undoubtedly witness. The price is great for just that.No shedding, vacuums great. The inlay lines of the shag are there but not noticable. (See last picture)I have not machine washed it so I cannot vouch for that, but will update when I do attempt to clean it. I have done spot treatments and have had no issues.Only down side, which I feel is a given, and have deducted no stars for; the coloration varying. I bought two of the same size and color to accommodate an awkward measured area. Laying them side by side. They line up wonderful with no issues there, however the colors do not match! One is a more deeper blueish gray while the other is a tinge lighter. (See second to last picture).But overall I'm happy with the quality!
