Why is the price twice ad much? I just bought the same pack fpr $15. But now its $28?

I try to wait for a coupon day and stock up. I just assume that with it being in high demand, super convenient, delicious and not to mention the unpredictable covid delays with securing and shipping of many products. I just thank the good lord when I can find and purchase items that have become staples in my home.

Is it possible to eat the rice without microwaving it or stove top cooking it first? That is, can I eat it cold if I don't have a way to heat it?
