**Q: Is this the same brand & shade that's said to be Queen Elizabeth's favorite?**
A: Read that she's been wearing "Ballet Slippers" since 1989. Her favorite shade

**Q: Does Essie do animal testing?**
A: If you look on Essie's website under their FAQs, they write the following:
"essie and L’Oreal are totally committed to animal-free beauty. If you'd like to learn more about the work in the area of alternative methods to animal testing, please click here."

**Q: Where is esie's color called meatballs?**
A: Hi there Geri! Unfortunately, the shade meatballs is not a current essie color and is not available. Sometimes, online reviewers reference discontinued shades, which we know can be confusing.

A: Nope! You just need the Essie gel top coat to give it the "gel" functionality. It also helps the polish dry super quickly!
