Bosch Parts 2610938414 Adapter Plate

Great router plate! Perfect for my Bosch router. Was easy to install the router with the included screws after routing out the plywood. The only complaint for this router base is the surface seems a bit rough which might catch certain woods but I have not had any issues so far. I suppose this could fit many router types but got it for my Bosch. Seems like a sturdy product as well. Highly recommended!

I recently moved to a new home and unfortunately, had to put all my tools into a storage unit, until I get my workshop built. A recent project (4 drawer cabinet) had me in need of my router/table. I decided I'd rather buy a new router (upgrade time) and make a router table, then dig through my storage unit. I made my router table, after purchasing a new Bosch 1617EVS kit , which included the plunger base. I needed a good solid ALUMINUM router table insert that would allow "Bolt-up" compatibility and allow me access to the plunger base's fine adjustment through a access hole in the right router table insert. The plate also has the added benefit of having scales (measurement) located on either side of the opening, allowing for precise location of your fence/stop.This is the correct unit! Everything lines up correctly. It's a heavy duty thick plate that will last!! I think that those looking for value and durability will be happy with this insert.

I purchased this insert after reading numerous reviews. The biggest selling point regarding this insert was that it's made of aluminum and will therefore stay flat and will not warp due to the weight of the router. I have yet to route and mount to my router table top however due to the many concerns I have regarding this insert.Good:1) Made of Aluminum that won't warp or crack due to weight of the router; very rigid.2) Pre-drilled for my Bosch Router and numerous other routers3) Has rulers embossed into plate which helps when aligning fence4) Flat with uniform thickness across the plateBad:1) Lots of holes. I'm concerned edge of wood, especially when doing small pieces, will catch on one of the holes.2) Very rough surface3) Doesn't come with the necessary Ring Set. I ordered the Bosch 2610915125 Ring Set separately.4) The Bosch Rings I received don't mount flush to the top of the adapter plate. I measured one and it was 1/32" (about 0.03") low on one side and slightly less on the other side. Wood could dip , especially when routing small pieces, at the start of the route and catch as it exits the ring area. 1/32" dip would be noticeable in the resultant route. I'm considering either shimming with Mylar tape, making my own rings, or finding a new insert.

This fit my DeWalt router and works quite well. I wish they had more selection of plastic inserts though.I have the 2 1/4 HP DeWalt router; I don’t recall the number. I purchased the 3 base kit and one base stays permanently installed in this mount which I installed in an auxiliary table on my table saw. It turns the table saw into a router table and lets me use the same fence for both tools with a simple drop over guard. The only issue I has with this was the immense amount of holes; there are so-so many holes. I filled all but the needed mounting holes with Bondo and sanded it flush; I also flushed it to my table wherein it fits perfectly.This is a great add to any router. I thought about getting another one to set in my counter to help with larger pieces.I used this mount to easily put a 3/4” round over in 1 1/2” butcher block counters before installing them.There are two holes for guide pins to help with free hand routing, routing without a fence; one is 1/4-20 thread while the other is metric, either M6 or M8, I don’t recall which but I’m more inclined to think M6.

I inserted this into my work bench to save space and it works great for my router .

I am making a homemade router table, and before getting something nicer I am starting out with a cheapo HF router. I had trouble getting it to fit another small table without drilling new holes.This fits perfectly my router (seems like they have purpose built holes for it.

I already had a Bosch 1617EVS router. Decided to go with Bosch for table insert as well, to keep it all in the family and limit the number of moving parts (haha get it?).Arrived on time, etc, it works, but:1. it has a lot of extraneous holes in it, presumably so that it will fit routers and tables by other makers as well2. there are so many holes that I had to watch a YouTube video to figure out how to mount the router to it (hint: it does not use the same holes as the router's base plate)3. as noted by other reviewers, the surface is very rough, so will probably have to sand it down4. This includes only the base plate itself (fair enough: as advertised, but) ... other brands include mounting hardware, ring inserts, starter pins, ...Would not buy again.

Though they aren't Bosch products, my very old Craftsman router and, New Master Force Menards routers both, mount to this insert. There are a lot of extra holes in this thing that I'll be filling.

This is a great insert. It has a ton of holes for all types of routers and I saw in the comment sections it doesn't work for an bosch evs1617. It does. You have to take off the black plate and keep rotating til the holes line up. It does.

Before I write my review of this Bosch Router Table Adapter Plate, a few words about the delivery service.The Bosch Router Table Adapter Plate arrived well within the estimated time scale. The parcel was well packaged to with stand any transportation issues during transit.The Bosch Router Table Adapter Plate itself is well made, the graduation scale are clearly marked in imperial units including the direction of the Router Cutter spin.The only disappointment about this Bosch Router Table Adapter Plate is that it doesn’t come with any insert rings, nor does it come with any fixings.The only reason I can think of, this being the case is that Bosch must have made an assumption that anybody buying the Router Table Adapter Plate will be doing so to replace the existing Plate on the Bosch Router Table rather then making your own Router Table.Finally to conclude, I would say the price you pay for this bare Bosch Router Table Adapter Plate, is a bit pricey, however if either the insert rings or the fixing kit was included it would be worth a buy.Stay Safe, Healthy and Good Luck in your Search for a Router Table Adapter Plate.Kind RegardsFix-It-MateMake Something.

Funciona bien con mi router Bosch. Lo único que no me gusta son todos esos hoyos que tiene a ajustarse a todos los modelos. Se llenan de aserrín. Serían mejor una placa lisa para mejor deslizamiento de la madera.

MRC23EVSK like a less powerful version of Bosch uses same mounting hole pattern - M4 screws evenly spaced around the spindle with 60mm radius (120 degrees) and fixed base adjustment hole also in a right place.
