I have had a chronic sinus condition for many years. As you are well aware with the condition like this breathing and getting a good nights sleep is almost impossible. At the advice of my physician I sought to purchase a room humidifier. The pharmacist that my local drugstore mentioned a number of humidifiers to me, but after reading the information on the containers and the recommendation of the pharmacist, I chose ProCare. I consulted the pharmacist as to what filters I should use in this unit. He stated ProCare humidifier filters are best to be used in this unit. After the using the unit with ProCare Humidifier Filters for one night in my bedroom, I noticed I was able to breathe much easier than ever before and was able to get a decent night's sleep. I would first recommend that you consult your physician concerning your sinus condition, and if a room humidifier is suggested, I would strongly recommend ProCare Humidifier and using only ProCare Humidifier Filters for best results.

It fits but just barely it advertised to fit my specific humidifier which is why I ordered it I had to force it down a bit to get the top back on but hey it works I would have given five stars if it had fit a bit better

I desperately needed one of these to replace the one in my son's filter. It works great and I can tell you that when I replaced it, my son started breathing better at night. He had been suffering from a nasty cold that was causing him to cough and be congested in his chest and nose, but within 24 hours of replacing his filter I noticed he began to clear up immediately. I really think the filter helped him to begin the process of feeling better.

Good replacement humidifier filter. Fit in my Vicks humidifier without an issue and replaced the old filter which was beginning to discolor from use. These filters don't last long, they say a month but you will see it discolor after about 2 weeks depending on the water you put in.

Works just a good as the one that came with the humidifier. I will be sure to take this out of the humidifier once I'm finished using it, let it dry off and keep it in a dry place until ready to be used again. My last filter lasted two years (it's a cool mist that I bought for my newborn which she only used when she got sick about half a dozen times) and then went moldy from being kept inside the damp humidifier while being stored and not used.

Have to be honest, don't like this filter.Went yellow and crusty at the bottom(water end) in the first tank of water. The original filter in Vicks Starry Night humidifier did not to do this so I know it's not our water or air quality. The original filter did not discolor or smell weird AND it did not have metal in the middle- which I cut myself on trying to make the darn thing fit properly. The original filter supplied by the manufacture lasted just over 30'days running 24/7. This filter didn't last the week! I see most of the reviews for this brand and others are not favorable so I will call the manufacture and see if I can order a filter from them direct. Keeping my fingers crossed this brand of filter is not my only option.

Got thia for the Vicks Starry Night humidifier and it fits well, but doesn't last as long as the filter that came with the unit. It falls apart when cleaning and leaves silver coating in the tray. To be fair I didn't dry it daily like recommended but I didn't with the first one. I bleach out the humidifier and pieces and fully dry once a week.

The product we received contained metal which was not expected. The original filters for our humidifiers did not look the same even though our number was listed in the description. However, the filter fit in and we used it as a replacement until we could buy the correct ones.
