AjustLock 8 Inch Barrel Bolt, Extra Heavy Duty Lock (Zinc Black) (Very Large Lock - Check Dimensions Before Purchasing)

I bought this product to help secure my shed door. It replaced a flimsy product that was much less of a deterrent to crime. I must say this lock/barrel bolt is sturdy and well made. There is a satisfying metal on metal sound and feel when you throw the bolt home that oozes confidence that your door is good and thoroughly shut and bolted. Also the aperture for the lock on the end accepts hefty 3/8ths thick locks.

Strong bolt big and I like the adjustlock. I installed this on a back door of an old cabin. It looks good and I feel secure.

Fantastic slidebolt, has a hole in the end to utilize a padlock to secure your gate. Bought a second one for the bottom of the gate to prevent the gate from warping. The 8" is a lot more secure and heavy duty then the six-inch version.

Used for a tack Locker, works perfectly

Missing 8 screws and the package was open

Very tough.

Well made, very solid. However, its adjustment feature allows too much play and the bolt slips out if the gate is pushed. Not recommended.
