These dried apple chips are wonderful, especially for late night snacks. Each bag of dried apples is just over half an ounce (0.53 ounce), but you can't go by the weight to determine how much the fruit probably weighed before the drying process. (The nutritional information can give a better guess when comparing one brand's dried fruit to another.) The chips taste a little bit on the dry side, but that is to be expected. After all, these are bags of dried fruit. Look at the ingredient label (there is a copy you can enlarge at the top of the product page). Can you pronounce all of the ingredients? I can. APPLES and CINNAMON are the only ingredients in one of the flavors. There are no artificial ingredients.

I'm doing the WW digital plan and am down 54 lbs. It's been a great journey and life changing. I've made some real, lasting changes. One of the huge changes involves not eating refined sugar and heavy carbs, white flower. It was a difficult transition but now all of those cravings are in the rear view mirror (very thankful for that). I was a huge sugar addict - like cakes, cookies and candy. These apple chips (and they are really crunchy) are helpful in satiating my sweet tooth. One bag is 60 calories and 3 WW pts. They are a bit pricey and the portions are small ... but wow, they work as a great snack (and I find this little bag actually filling). BTW, I did my weight loss naturally: no meds or surgeries. Just diet changes and workout additions.

Something was "off" about some of the chips, like they weren't baked all the way through or something so some chips would have a different texture in spots. I feel like the portion size is pretty standard for something like this - after all, the water is completely taken out of them so it looks very small. Going by calorie content, each single-serving bag has 60 calories. 1 cup of apple slices has 57 calories. I paid $25 for 24 bags, so the price per bag with 1 cup of apple in it seems fair to me for a snack food. That being said, most of the pieces were essentially crumbs, so that was a little disappointing. The flavor is good - I got the variety pack and can't complain about any of the flavors. I don't think these are bad, but I have learned they're not necessarily my preference. I think I prefer freeze dried apple slices for the texture.

YAY for a healthy snack that my kids like! This is especially important for my son with ASD and some major food issues. It's a struggle to get him to eat almost everything, let alone when it comes to fruit or veggies. Ordered these with my fingers crossed and as luck would have it HE LOVES all the flavors! He did turn his nose up at them at first and hand it back to me but I left the open bag out for him and within 15 min he decided to give them another shot and ate them all. Then wanted more! I love being able to offer him something he likes that's good for him. It's a great feeling, more so when it's been a struggle for years. So happy a product like this exists! We will continue ordering! Don't change a thing!

We've been getting these apple chips for quite awhile. Unfortunately they have changed their packaging and the bags are significantly smaller, although the price didn't go down... There also used to be more variety of apple flavors in the variety packs. But they are a delicious and much healthier alternative to chips and other salty snacks. They are not too sweet, but sweet enough to satisfy a "sweet tooth", especially the cinnammon. They are perfect for me when I have to get up in the middle of the night to let my dogs out and "need" to have a crunchy snack, or any time you crave something sweet and crunchy with no fat and some actual health benefits!!!

I snack on these for a guilt-free, healthy, low calorie snack. These are super yummy, great value, and perfect portion. The reason I went with a 3 is because I had one bag of the red apple that was so bitter I had to stop eating. It tasted like what a rotten apply must taste like. I also don't like the caramel flavor - it's too sweet. I likely won't order this again since one fourth of the box is going to waste or being pawned off on others.

I bought these on a whim for a road trip. My husband and I LOVED them. It's all I can do to avoid buying them weekly. I wasn't crazy about the salted caramel chips (which were what initially drew me in to the product), but he loves them. The green and red plain chips were spectacular-- not artificially sweetened at all, just the natural apple flavor. The chips have a nice slight brown color, because there isn't any citric acid added to keep them pale. Every apple chip I've had since these simply falls short.

The amount of chips in each bag is a JOKE!!! Each bag contained a whole chip or two (at best) with the remainder of what little was left being crumbs. I even received one bag that was COMPLETELY EMPTY. Yes, you read that correctly...one bag of chips consisted of nothing but air. The chips themselves are great in regards to the flavor and the brand as a whole. I did feel like the ones in this order weren’t quite as fresh as they’ve been in the past...not necessarily stale (they were not expired) but just not as fresh as what I’m used to. By far, this is my favorite brand of apple chips but they just aren’t worth it for the money. I do have to say that I like these chips so much that I would possibly purchase these again IF that was my only option ;as in a zombie apocalypse or coronavirus) AND if I was rich enough to just piss it away (which is pretty much what you’re doing when you buy these chips from this seller).
