Seat pedestal
Very sturdy. I currently have push in pin type seat pedestals, but don't like the fact that they're wobbly and could pop out of hole. Was on the lake recently, and came across another person's wake, and front seat popped out into floor of boat! Using this type of pedestal, the seat is connected permanently to floor and seat. Plus, the pedestal holes line up perfectly with existing pedestal base. Haven't had on water yet, but should be much better. I have a Tracker Grizzly 1754 sc. Could even paint these easily to match boat color if preferred.

Doubles as a Winch Mount
We got this to use as a pedestal for the trailer winch and it works great. We use it on a 12ft v-bottom boat.

Still relatively new, but so far exactly what I wanted.
I bought this item to replace a plastic milk crate that served as the base for a swivel fishing seat in my hard floor, inflatable Intex Mariner 4 boat. The first worked so well I went to buy another for my front seat. Somehow, in the interim, this item no longer qualifies for free 2 day shipping, even though I have Amazon Prime. The cost of this <$20 item has now gone up ~$10 due to shipping costs. I looked around and found the same item at Walmart for the same price or less, with zero shipping.Attwood: After limited use, this fits my needs perfectly and seems very well made.Amazon: I used a different seller for the 2nd, exactly the same item, due to the addition of a $10 shipping fee, 2-3 weeks after I bought the first one.

Nice quality
easy to install on my pontoon seat for fishing and they are heavy duty made, I'm a big guy 245lbs and they hold my weight just fine and swivel smoothly..

Swivl-eze "swiveling" pedestal DOES NOT SWIVEL
It may be a great pedestal, it may be a good value, but it's inexcusably inaccurate in its description. Remove the word "swiveling" and be clear that another product (not included) is the only way it will swivel. [The word "swiveling" has suddenly disappeared from the description! Thx.]
