Christopher Knight Home Gwendolyn Outdoor Rustic Acacia Wood Dining Table, Teak

This table is beautiful. I was a bit hesitant but I finally decided I wanted a new dining table for the porch and covid was putting a dampener on the ability to get out and shop. So I ordered this. I could not be more pleased. Fortunately I had two builders, one a master carpenter, on hand to put it together. They were impressed likewise. Much to my relief, the carpenter said he believes it is truly teak wood, an opinion I respect as he is has been restoring old homes for 30+ years. He knows wood. He was taken with the mill work, pointing out how finely done the corners and edges are. The hardware is sturdy and the table came together smoothly with no wobble or warp. Things to note about the assembly: the instructions are less than perfect, but it’s almost intuitive how the thing comes together except for one thing: There are 3 braces with holes on all sides. The two side braces under the lips sit one way whereas the one brace under the center seam lies on a different side. This is not clearly indicated in the instructions and could have been easily overlooked if I’d had less skilled help assembling the table. Other than that, dang near perfection. A nice touch is that at least one extra of all the parts is included; an extra leg, an extra brace and some extra washers and bolts. Overall just a nice piece of furniture. We’ve eaten off of it twice now and I’m thrilled so far. Will update if the thing falls apart or the finish disintegrates, but I don’t expect that to happen. NOTE: Exactly 30 inches at eating height

The table is nice, but the finish is sensitive and easily scratched…like a cat jumped up on our table and scratched it. Assembly instructions also get a bit wonky and one of the support pieces got installed wrong and went through the table top. I bought it for indoor use so can’t attest to its weatherproofness, but other reviews seem to indicate the finish doesn’t hold up to weather. I’m not surprised. This is the 2nd time I’ve ordered this table. The first one I ruined because I sprayed it down with pinesol and and removed the finish. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Overall looks like a nice table, but the quality control failures did not make it worth the aggravation.1. The styrofoam sheets used in packaging had disintegrated into a gazillion tiny bits. Due to static electricity they clung to every wooden surface, nook, and cranny. Took almost an hour of vacuuming and poking to collect them all.2. One of the metal threaded inserts that holds a table leg had not been properly threaded on the inside. Had to buy a set of taps from Home Depot to get the correct oddball tap, back out the insert (which compromises its "bite"), then retap the metal and re-install with glue.

The table had a good size dent on top. Very disappointing

I bought this table for our dining room. We needed a narrow table to fit our small foot print and this table fits the bill perfectly. It is gorgeous with Amazon dining chairs. It is sturdy and will serve us well for years to come. Very happy with our purchase.
