Oral-B Pro 7000 SmartSeries Electric Toothbrush with Bluetooth Connectivity, Black (Packaging May Vary)

I received this toothbrush a few days ago and already super loving it. First of all, let’s start off with the initial presentation of the toothbrush. It came in a two compartment box where one side was the toothbrush and charger whereas the other side had the case. The packaging is great and secure. Let’s start off with the toothbrush case itself. It looks and feels very premium. I feel very safe and secure leaving my toothbrush and additional replacement heads kept in there. You can keep up to two replacement heads in there and your toothbrush by the way. The case is sturdy that it seems like it can take a fall and go unharmed. Let’s now talk about the smart timer that came with it. It also comes with two batteries and a mount to put on your mirror or wherever you want to stick it. Make sure to read to instruction book on how to set the time correctly and also to connect your toothbrush to this timer. I found this timer feature pretty useful because of how it gives you a rating after each time you brush. The smiley face will change depending on how you brush. It will also tell you the time elapsed or remaining depending on how you set it up. After you finish brushing, it will basically act like a clock so that is always nice to have in the bathroom. Now, onto the main toothbrush itself! This toothbrush not only looks premium but it felt very comfortable in my hands too. It is also super easy to take off the brush head. You just gently pull up and then you are ready to switch. The Bluetooth was also relatively easy to set up to the phone. Make sure you download the Oral B app and turning on Bluetooth on the phone before connecting this toothbrush. After downloading just open the app up and press the power button on the toothbrush and it will connect on your phone! I thought it would be the type of Bluetooth where you have to choose the device to connect to but nope, it's even simpler than that. For those who want to use the toothbrush right away, you will have to wait a little. *My toothbrush came with absolutely 0% battery and wouldn't even turn on* It took about the 24 hours written in the manual to completely charge. I started using it around 2 hours in though because I couldn't wait. It is super easy to charge too. You should place your toothbrush on the charger and then it'll charge. It'll show you how many bars of battery has been charged. If it turns off and doesn't show any battery levels anymore then it is fully charged! Let’s get to the brushing part. Not only does this toothbrush make it fun and kind of like a game but makes me want to brush. I started using the toothbrush head that was already installed on the toothbrush and it cleaned my teeth really clean. It was powerful but not too strong where it hurts me. This toothbrush is also great too because it will warn you if you are placing too much pressure. The toothbrush and power thoroughly cleans my teeth and my mouth so much cleaner compared to manual toothbrush and a 10 dollar electric toothbrush that I used before. You can actually feel the difference. All of this can be tracked on your Oral B app to see how long you have been brushing and you can also do different programs on how you want to brush your teeth and your goal. This, I believe is a really cool feature. The toothbrush itself also has 6 different modes. The tongue cleaning mode is pretty neat because it is gentle when on that mode and cleans my tongue pretty well. The other modes are great too. I also really like the whitening mode as it seems to polish more of an area and the rhythm is a little different which is pretty neat. After using your toothbrush it is easy to clean as you just have to rinse it and clean it a little bit and you’re golden. You can either keep it on the charger or leave it on your counter with no problem. Overall, I really recommend this product because it not only makes me want to brush, but makes me brush more too. It not only keeps my teeth clean, but will keep my gums healthy.

In a time where many electronics seem built to fail within a couple of years, the Pro 7000 has proven to be a long-lasting investment in my dental health. The cleaning performance has been consistently excellent over the years, and I’ve never had any issues with the motor, battery, or brush head connection. If you're looking for an electric toothbrush that truly lasts and delivers excellent results every single time, I highly recommend the Oral-B Pro 7000. To begin with, I have owned a Braun electric toothbrush for many years. I have one of their older rotating head models that still works well. In other words, I have experience with these toothbrushes. I also feel that, by far, you get a better clean using a rotating brush over a standard one. I am a little over 50 years of age. In my lifetime, I have only had one cavity. I take great pride in maintaining proper dental hygiene. I believe anyone can be cavity-free if they floss regularly and brush their teeth and gums twice a day for at least two minutes. What I liked about the older Braun electric toothbrush was that I could actually time my brushings to the recommended 2 minutes. Start the holder, and at the two minute mark, the brush heads would make a funny motion to indicate that your two-minute mark has occurred. This new 7000 SmartSeries toothbrush takes that experience to a whole new level. The best thing about this expensive toothbrush is that it comes with a portable gauge with adhesive holder that you tack on to your bathroom wall near your sink. It actually pairs with the toothbrush via bluetooth. When you turn the toothbrush on, the indicator starts counting towards your 2-minute goal. I like this, because without the indicator on the older brush, I never knew how far into my routine I was. An indicator on the gauge not only counts your brush time, but also tells you if you are brushing too hard. If you are brushing too hard, a sad face will appear on the indicator. I was surprised how often this happened -- and it showed me, for the first time, that I was not brushing properly. The only thing I wasn't too crazy about was that every 30 seconds, the toothbrush heads would slow down for a split second, to indicate another 30 second cycle had just passed. I don't think it was necessary for Braun to implement this feature. It's not a deal breaker, certainly -- but I do agree with other Amazon reviewers that it can be annoying. At first, the thought of having a phone app for brushing your teeth seemed ludicrous. However, after using the included gauge --- and becoming dependent on it --- I can see how an app would be perfect when traveling. Think about it.....you can leave the gauge at home and use the mobile app instead to show you your progress and indicate when you are not brushing correctly. Now to debunk some prior review myths.... Yes, it is true, it takes a full 24 hours to initially charge this toothbrush. That's kind of crazy. However, I suppose no big deal. Some have said that the charging light is overly bright to the fact that it's almost like having a night light in their bathroom. This is not true. Yes, it has a blinking blue charging light, but in total darkness, it did not become bright enough to be distracting. Yes, it's a little noisy when being used. However, not the point where you are going to wake up everyone in the house. If you are like me and keep the bathroom door closed, nobody is going to be awakened by this toothbrush. The 7000 series is a bit larger and heavier than the older Braun toothbrushes. However, it does seem to be more powerful. I also feel a better clean, overall, using this series over the older model. It comes with, I believe, 3 brush heads. A registration coupon inside offers a $3 savings on replacement heads plus an additional $7 off coupon when you register online. There is a beautiful travel case included. I agree with one reviewer that the travel case might be better if it had air vents. However, if you thoroughly dry your toothbrush prior to putting it in the case, I don't see any problems. Braun has moved from the fully upright charging stand to a flat dock. I like this design. It includes a covered area to store toothbrush heads for members of your family. With the included Amazon clip coupon, I ended up paying about $120 for this toothbrush. It's pricey...yes...but once you start using it with the included gauge, you will look forward to using it every morning.

Love oral-b tooth brushes. The 7000 probably has too many unnecessary features like Bluetooth, and the accessories are not really useful, but it's still the best electric tooth brush you can buy. The charger says 110v but it charges in India (!) not sure if it's going to be a problem

I bought this believing that it is from a reputable brand, so, it would provide long-lasting performance. Unfortunately, after just 3-4 months of use, the battery's condition has deteriorated significantly, almost rendering it useless. The charging process now takes more than 24 hours, and once fully charged, it can only last for 2-3 uses before running out of power again. I had high expectations for this toothbrush, assuming it would be durable and reliable due to its reputed brand. However, the short battery life and extended charging time have been major disappointments. The inconvenience of having to wait an entire day for it to charge and then experiencing it deplete after just a few uses has been frustrating. This experience has left me questioning the quality of products from Oral B.
