Jetboil Genesis Storage Bag for Genesis Basecamp Backpacking and Camping Stove Cooking System

So my wife bought me the STOKE VOLTAICS Nomad cooking system as a great gift. Unfortunately she didn’t get the one that brings the storage bag. I looked to see if the bag was available for purchase by itself. I couldn’t find it. I saw this bag and took the measurements of my Nomad and it was pretty close. The bag was delivered and I tried it out. It all fit but the bag was slightly bigger than the Nomad. I took the bottom packaging foam that was in the shipping box for the stove and cut it into an octagon shape with a serrated knife. It fits great. The bag has a top pocket where I was able to store the power cord and pan handle. The material of the bag is very good quality and the double carry handles feel sturdy as well.

I bought the Genesis without the pot and pan, as I hate non stick and plastic lids, and prefer a titanium pot/lid, and carbon steel pan. Problem is, the Genesis stove (solo) comes with a smaller bag. This larger bag (for the set) fits my upgraded pot, pan and the Genesis Stove. I’m happy. Close to the same price (as the Basecamp set) after I parted everything out, separately.

Fits the complete system just perfectly

I bought this for my brother who had purchased the Genesis Base Camp double burner camp stove only. He later bought the skillet. I purchased the pot and this bag for him based on a review about the original bag that came with the stove will not hold all 3 items. I'm glad I did! He had to use the one I purchased. Happy Birthday Little Brother!

I purchased this bag for my husbands jet boil burner. I didn't notice that it was wider than our burner system, it's too big, however, we bought other acessories for the jet boil, and they all fit inside of the bag, including the larger fuel can, so we are keeping it. The price was right, and the quality of the bag is excellent.

Bag is good. It is the same one that comes included with the genesis cook kit.

If you want it strictly to store or carry a Jet Boil Genesis System this is the perfect bag for you. The bag is of excellent quality and won't let you down. And the bag description is well written so I take the responsibility for the fact I likely should have never purchased this bag. That said IMHO the handle is oriented wrong. Putting it on the side instead of top just seems less awkward and handier to me. Further I bought this bag for my HalfGen and 5L pot for mainly picnics. A such I wanted to be able to load the elusive picnic basket grab my stove bag and go. Can't be done with this bag. Besides no where for the propane and maybe a water bottle there is not enough room for other sundries besides food required for such an outing. During the course of figuring out my short sightedness in this matter I notice the bag for my Coleman Fold and Go grill works much better for me. Jetboil fits snuggly side pockets for the propane bottles and large enough for my other items. There is a generic slightly larger version on Amazon and it is on the way. Maybe there will be enough room to protect my Jetboil with this bag. BTW the Jetboil Luna will not nest with the system in this bag either.

Item was well packed, properly addressed, and exactly as described. Also arrived a little earlier than suggested. I'm very happy with the purchase.
