Learning curve
Instructions are very vague. Do not expect any detailed instructions. Eventually you'll figure it out. Seems to be made well enough. I got it for the cfm, humidity and temperature. I used another CFM meter to compare it to. My trusted CFM meter tells me I am getting 121 CFM from a 6" duct line. This meter is telling me 435 CFM. I switched it to read CMM. It said 122. Maybe China does it differently. So now I know that I have to use CMM setting to get an accurate CFM. Lol. Only real draw back is the light. Only stays on for maybe 5 seconds. No matter what I do. Not a deal breaker. Just letting you know, this isn't a professional instrument if you are in the HVAC trade as I am. Will do as a back up.

Great product!
Our business uses anometers to keep track of wind and temperature while working in the field. We purchased 3 of these units and they arrived quickly and were very easy to figure out. They are quite accurate ( you just have to let the machine sin out of the case for a few min prior to taking a temperature reading for outdoor temps ), and seem to be well built.

Used for determine wind for drone flying plus wind chill factors when cold and windy
Unit does give a lot of information about wind data. However for just someone that wants wind speed and direction, this unit is overkill. Did not like having to stand out in high winds to get readings so happy to see that his has screw hole on bottom to mount on a tripod (not supplied). Wind wheel spun easily and did not any wobble or sway in it. Easy to hold, portable and comes with carry case. The LCD screen is easy to read and is good size. A friend has use it out at his landing strip and when compared to his other reading devices, found this unit readings comparable. Came in handy when determine if wind was going to allow us to fly our drones. Also helpful in determine wind chill since our thermometer does not. For an electronic device has not UL or ETL markings, made in China, only has CE marking for European market.
