HooverFloorMate H3000 and H3010 Squeegee, Retainer 59177047

Suddenly my trusty old floormate quick sucking up water. I couldn't figure out what the problem was, and honestly didn't remember that a squeegee was on the bottom. Everything looked normal. I hadn't noticed that the squeegee had worn off ( presumably when my teenager was using it and didn't think it was important enough to tell me that a blue rubber strip came off.) because the actual squeegee strip was the same color as the plastic attached to it. Looks great having all that nice blue plastic and rubber, but since the squeegee tears off clean, it's not easy to know what the problem is, at least the first time it happens.The replacement came quickly and snapped right on. Super easy to replace and works like new!My only suggestion is that the manufacturer puts a black rubber strip on the blue plastic attachment. That way, it might be a little easier for new owners to tell if it's worn off.

I do really like my Hoover Floormate vacuum/scrubber. Its absolute weakest part is this squeegee. Replacements aren't 'cheap' but it is worth getting them since the rest of the system soldiers on very well. Removal and installation of this component is easy...and even I can do it with a screwdriver. The deal here is that the squeegee closely flexes over the floor surface and provides a seal (with the aid of the water the scrubber puts down) so that dirty water is very efficiently vacuumed up. All this flexing and the thinness of the squeegee blade leads to early failure and so it pays to have one of these on hand. We have about 800 square feet of hard flooring in our home and each squeegee lasts about one year when the machine is used once every two weeks.

The front squeegee for our Floormate floor cleaner was worn out and ripped. The part number matched so gave these a try, could not be happier, they fit perfectly and appear to be a more sturdy part than the original.

Inherited the Power Mate machine. I wasn't impressed until I realized the squeegee was missing. Replaced that item as well as the filter and it now works like new. Item shipped on time and was easy to install in the cleaner. Now love to clean our large kitchen floors.

My old Hoover Floormate 2800 had lost suction and I discovered that the squeegee on the nozzle had pretty much disintegrated. GoVacuum's service was great and the replacement squeegee arrived in a couple of days. The squeegee is easily replaceable and is held by three easy-to-remove screws. Once installed, the cleaner began sucking up the water as it had when it was new. My cleaner model is very old and no longer available, but this squeegee fit perfectly. In general, replacing parts is cheap, easy, and much better for the environment!

I thought I would have to buy a whole new machine, as the squeegee portion had dry rotted and the floormate was not sucking up all of the water anymore. The whole purpose of the machine is to suck up the dirty water, so if water is left on the floor, dirt is too. Then, I found the replacement part for $16 shipped on the web. But, then I was browsing Amazon and found it for three bucks on Amazon Warehouse Deals. Amazing. Replacing the part was easy and painless and the machine works like new again.

Now I can use my wet/dry floor cleaner again! Ordering was simple, attachment very easy, and the part works great. Couldn't be happier.

This part fit my Floormate perfectly and has breathed new life into it. It picks up water from the floor as well as it did brand new. I was hoping to not have to buy a new unit but my tired old Floormate was not quite up to par, leaving water behind on the floor. I saw this part and gave it a shot. A new filter and the new squeegee has done the trick. And I saved the money I would have spent on a new unit. Very happy I was able to get this part.
