If you think you need this, you do.
Great product, works as advertised. Easy to install easy to clean easy to maintain and keeps my garage floor absolutely spotless in the winter. If you're a Type A, do yourself a favor...mop out the melted water and salt periodically so you don't have a swimming pool in your garage all winter plus don't risk stepping in water when you get in/ out of your car. The best I've found, and I have two (one dedicated to the garage and another for inside the house) is the O-Cedar EasyWring Microfiber Spin Mop and Bucket Floor Cleaning System, which I purchased at Home Depot. It also happens to be available on Amazon for less than 35 bucks...a fantastic mop and bucket with a foot operated spinner to wring out the mop and keep your hands clean and dry...a brilliant gadget! Attached is a photo I just took after mopping out quite a bit of water, salt and dirt from the mat...looks like new. I have just read that several people complain about the wrinkles and the fact that the mat moves in their garage. Mine has been down for a while now, with several snowfalls, and the wrinkles are no big deal, it's still collects water perfectly, and it has not moved 1 inch. However I am careful when I pull into the garage so I line up fairly straight with the mat so I'm not turning my front wheels much, and I pull in slowly and apply the brakes very slowly so the car will not push the mat forward. Absolutely no problems...could not be more pleased.

It does the job as expected catching slush & snow
It catches the winter snow & slush under my car when I park in the garage as I hoped. I probably should have bought the next size up or a little larger floor guard but it will still do. My wife bought one last year and it works well. Our biggest problem is the slush would melt from underneath then we'd have pools of water in the garage by morning & that would go up against the plaster sheet rock walls which made us fearful off mold so we tried this for a solution. The lips around the edges of the mat catch the water keeping it on the matt so then you can broom sweep off the water instead of the water laying & rolling around on the cement floor & going wherever it wants. Not to mention all that snow and salt has really ruined the garage already. Going forward these AutoFloorGuard Mats will save your garage & home in the long run. The mat is a durable, thick type of vinyl/rubber that can easily be laid down & rolled up in the spring. It has not ripped or torn at all since we bought the first mat 3 years ago & is holding up very well. Hopefully it will last for many many more years to come. The creases you see in the first photo is the fist time we laid it down on the floor & the creases will flatten out over time. The second photo is the one we bought years ago & still is holding up. Not sure why one mat had the website name & the other did not? They appear to be the same mat. The water, snow, slush & salt easily broom sweep off the mat & doesn't tear.

Not perfect but still a great product!
Pros: It is very easy to set up and it is easy to squeegee off, although I use my big garage squeegee not the small one provided. The small one works great, I just like to get done faster. When I had a big job with tons of mud to remove, it was very easy to sweep the big chucks off and very easy to move the whole thing outside to clean properly. It tends to stay in place for the most part and it is SO MUCH BETTER than trying to sweep winter muck off the garage floor!!! The material is really tough and I haven't had any risk of tears with my squeegee or moving it or through regular use. Cons: The Velcro doesn't work well - hard to make that work on cement. So I just anchor the 4 corners and 2 sides with rocks and it does ok. I don't think I really even need those although it will eventually inch forward and might need to be pulled back a bit every now and then. Easy to do. I would like to have higher sides. I get a LOT of frozen slush in my tire wells where I live and the melted gunk doesn't evaporate or soak in like it does with cement so you have to kind of watch the level of water if you get a lot. Easy to take care of with the squeegee though. What I would love to see is a weighted and taller rim. A weighted rim would remove the need for Velcro, although it would be heavier to move. A taller rim would hold more muck. For most people in the nation, this is probably perfect! I just happen to challenge it to the max by where and how I live. Like I said in my title, it's not perfect but I am still very happy I bought it and would recommend it.

Going to order another
We are in Michigan, and we live in a house built in the late 1950's. Basically, my garage floor looks like a lumpy plate of mashed potatoes. High in some areas, deep wells in other areas, and someone had the brilliant idea to slope the garage floor toward the adjoining house wall. Anyway, we have spent years using brooms and squeegees to try to get deep puddles out of our garage to prevent us from slipping and to prevent the drywall on the adjoining house wall from getting wet. The Auto Floor Guard is a real lifesaver. I purchased the medium sized one for my husband's 2017 Ford Fusion, and it fits great. If you are worried about angling your car to be fully parked on the Floor Guard, then I suggest a size up because there is not a ton of room left over on the sides (width, left-to-right). Sizing in length (north-to-south) is very generous. I have a small Ford Focus, and I am going to purchase the medium size for myself since I need to angle my car around garbage cans and miscellaneous garage "junk" when pulling into the garage. A size up will give me a little more room to hit my mark. Other reviewers have complained about bunching. We have only experienced a small amount of bunching or slippage, and that it because one the corners of the Floor Guard was slightly turned "up" from packaging. So, that "turned up" corner caught my husband's tire and causes some bunching in one area. We corrected that by setting bricks on the corner for about a week. No more bunching. As others have mentioned, our Floor Guard is very creased from shipping. The creases are fairly deep. They don't bother me because they settle into the dips of my garage floor and catch more water. But if you are worried about aesthetics, yes, it looks wrinkled, and the wrinkles have not gotten any better. Overall, this is a very well made item. The plastic is thick but flexible, double stitching, and the edges are quite high to catch the water. We are really happy, and we plan on using this all year round to catch water from even summer storms.

Works perfectly
This is one of the best investments made. I live in Michigan and like to park in the garage, which drags in a lot of snow and ice. This keeps the water away from my drywall. Perfect for older garages that does not drain the water properly.

Get the salt out
I bought this garage floor mat after I was done with a massive rearrangement of my workshop/garage. Not a lot of space in there so Iโm forced to store some stuff like plywood and various lengths of wood on the floor. That brought its own set of problems, so I went ahead and bought this to protect my investment in material. The mat I bought is the larger one. It fits nicely into my wifeโs half of the garage, and it is sturdy enough to lie flat with out all sorts of glues. This mat has one other big benefit, and that is protection of my garage floor from Winter road salt up here in upstate NY. Salt is an enemy of concrete. If you let your vehicle just shed its load of Icey snow build-up onto your garage floor, youโll soon discover that the combination of road salt and gooey water will eat right through the toughest concrete you can imagine. This mat takes care of that problem nicely. It has raised buffer material all around it, making it a little dam, and getting rid of excess water is a breeze . Just take the included squeegee and push the water out of your garage. Itโs a good product, and my concrete etching days are over. Try it.

Great quality floor mat for the winter
I bought the 7'9" x 18" mat in 2016 and it's still in great condition. It has contained all the messy snow, salt, and sand and kept my garage floor clean. I drive in and out on it daily during the Michigan winter months and the foam barrier has kept its shape. Also, it doesn't slide as you drive onto it. I'm going to purchase a second, and I'm hoping it will be the same quality. I'll update soon.

Keep melted snow water out of garage
We didnโt get the corners to stick to the floor, BUT it works well anyway. A friend of our bought one too , and didnโt try getting it to stick to the floor. He loves it.

Great product
This is a good quality product. The only reason I did not provide 5 stars is because I have only had it for a month; I don't know how long it will last. However, all indications are that this is a durable, well-made mat. I have never bought one before, so I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into. But after having parked my truck in the garage after a snowfall, and water spreading all over the garage, I needed a solution. The material is heavy gauge, the lip seems high enough, and it holds a lot of water. It was packaged well, had good instructions, and even came with a squeegee, which was both a surprise and essential, as I have no idea how I would have gotten all that water off the mat. The only thing I did was attach a longer handle. It came with some adhesive pads to adhere to the garage floor to help keep it in place, but I didn't bother. No adhesive is going to stick for very long to a concrete floor and the mat seems to stay in place. Yes, the mat is still wrinkled, but I couldn't expect more since I installed in December here in Ontario when it was 0 degrees celsius. A little pricey, but so far seems worth it.

Great product! Would recommend
This was a purchase for my husband who just had his garage floors nicely epoxied. He wanted to keep them clean from snow, dirt and salt from our nasty Canadian winters, and this product has done the job well! And it comes with a little squeegee that works great. The ONLY feedback we have is that a longer handle on the squeegee would be appreciated and useful, especially folks who struggle with back issues.

Great product
Like: material seems durable....contains water well. I'd been looking for this solution for my garage for a long time! Dislike: comes out of box very wrinkled. Took some effort to get flattened and spread out properly. Used a wet vac to clean up water as squeegee doesn't work great. Overall I am happy with the product. It keeps salt and water from running over to walls and contains the mess

Not heavy duty if it lasts only 6 weeks.
What started as a great product, shortly after the return window was over, turned to just a rag on the floor. It is a good product if you live in a city and use only all season tires. Being out in the country in northern ontario where we have real winters, it doesn't stand a chance as we have to run studded tires and it turns this mat to shreds even if I'm extremely careful on it...no spinning the tires or turning the wheels without the vehicle in movement. Therfore the title of heavy duty should be removed and just be call tough.
