MAXPEDITION Active Shooter Bag

I bought this bag for my Xterra to fit the cut out in the cargo bay where the factory medical kit used to be. Its large enough to hold all the field supplies I need when responding to accidents, but is still small enough to pack inside a larger bag when traveling off the beaten path. As a shooters bag, it would really excel. The pockets are large enough to squeeze 2 .223 mags in or one .308 mag and the same goes for the pistol pouches. The inside would fit extra ammo, a cleaning kit, an MRE... all sorts of things. I would say you could carry more weight than you wanted to. The bag is made with the same great craftsmanship that all Maxpedition bags are made. First rate gear!

Purchased this bag for what it was intended for. The mag pouches on the front can fit two 30 round AR mags and two double-stack 9mm and up mags. There are two zippered pouches on the top of the bag that have enough room for a full size pistol in each. Inside each pouch is soft velcro on each side, which is good for modular attachments and also protects the contents inside.Bag is built tough and will stand up to regular duty use easily. Zipper pulls are solid as well. Overall top quality materials used throughout.

The active shooter bag is typical Maxpedition quality. Great stitching, materials, and zippers. My major gripe is that the mag pouches on the front barely fit Magpul PMags. You have to wrestle them in there and I was afraid that I was going to blow the material out.

It would appear that Maxpedition should review their Quality Assurance a little closer. One of the rifle mag pouches fit my Magpul 30 round magazines just fine, however the over mag pouch barely fit the mag at all. I sold that bag to someone who has a different use in mind. I guess I'll have to purchase a bag from a local retailer and look at other bags to insure I can get my gear in and out in an emergency.

Great bag !!!tough as nails plenty of room for a couple of Glocks 9mm clips and some AR-15 clips if needed. Awsome padding and zippers. The hip and shoulder straps are very useful too. Plenty of room for the range gear!

I live in Singapore where gun is banned, no opportunity to use the active shooter bag in range, I mainly use it as a messenger bag for outing with families, where I put my 2 year old boys diapers, cookie box, his swimming shorts, our umbrella, my wife's books, pen, two phones, camera into the bag, it fits everything nicely and comfortable to carry, perfect for guys who needs to carry a bit stuff around and still wants to look manly.

Very well-built no frills get the job done kind of bag. Quality of bag is unsurpassed. 2 AR mags and 2 glock 22 mags in front fit perfect. Interior is spacious enough for medical supplies.

Well built like most maxpedition products, a great light weight active shooter bag that has enough room for the essentials without being too big and heavy like other models. Cost is low compared to the molle model that can really add up when attaching your own pouches
