These are the best invention ever for seniors with arthritis. The only improvement needed is a hinge of some sort where you put ot into the shoe. Is a bit too tight

These are wonderful, saves my sanity putting slip on shoes on.

Don't work well with thick upper heel material, such as tennis shoes.

When I tried these the first time I had difficulty getting them on my shoes. I'm arthritic so it took two hands. Then my feet are crooked and swollen. Well I gave up...cussed the product and threw them on the shelf. Today, still having a hard time putting on my shoes, I grabbed one. I put it offside where my shoe usually folds over and gave it a hard push. It went on the shoe. I stuck my crooked, swollen foot in and pulled back on the appliance. My foot slid in easily. I'll continue to try these. It was good not to get worn out putting my shoes on!

They need both hands to pry apart to fit the device onto the heel of your shoe. When trying to slip my foot into my shoes (Men's Airbirds, 12W with adjustable elastic ties) the shoehorn would slide over to the one side or the other of my heel every time I tried. They did not work as advertised in the videos. Maybe it's the type of shoes I wear but my point is there was no mention of a particular type of shoe needed to use these devices. I'm returning for a refund. They just do not work for me

Such a great help to put on a variety of types of shoes from sneakers to slip ins. Much used!

I don't know why I got these without more consideration. I guess I thought they would be adjustable, or that there would be a plastic barb I could insert to attach to my shoe (they are house slippers, and I wouldn't mind having them attached--I don't mind dorky). But it turns out that would not work anyway, because, as you might be able to see in the picture, there is a good two inches between the tip of the horn and the sole of the shoe, and the shoehorn that guides the heel only to within two inches of the sole is not effective. So these do nothing for me. But for someone with less than ankle-height shoes they might work.But, as noted by one other reviewer ("50/50 On Ease of Use"), the thickness matters. There is just about 1/16-inch between the horn and the back at the end (3/8-inch at the sides, so you can get a finger in to get the heel of the shoe in between the horn and the back). And as you can see in the picture, the heel of my slipper is 1/2-inch, so it is not easy to get these on, and, because the whole upper is just felt, it is very easy for these plastic shoehorn clips to slip off. So I'll just go to a shoe repair place and get some bootstraps sown into the slippers.I hope this help you decide whether these are right for you.

OMG these are the answer to my prayers. I am challenged and unable to put my shoes on - or so I thought. These give me the ability to get my shoes on without any struggle and I am so happy to have them.
