MasterPieces NFL Shake N' Score Travel Dice Game

I was never a fan of Yahtzee in the past, mainly because I always considered it my parents game. This Shake 'N Score game has taken the fun game play of Yahtzee and improved on it. The shaker is obviously a football, your team of choice. It also has a nice snap-on lid to make travel of the game super easy. The dice are larger than regular dice, but not too large. The dice uses numbers (colored to match the team) which I prefer over traditional dice dots. The number 1 side of the dice has the team logo, that's a nice touch. My only problem is the small printed score cards and the fact that I have to actually keep score myself, including doing the simple math. I found a great workaround. I found a nice app (Score Form For Yahtzee) that keeps the score for me easily and with the size of my phones screen, it's easy to see.

Was a huge hit !!!!! I am the person in the family that always finds the off the wall gifts that no one ever thinks to look for, This kept in tune with that. My brother loved this!!!!! Though it's small in size it was huge in response. I have one suggestion if you don't want to go through the score cards like my brother was afraid too. I suggest getting them laminated and using dry erase markers. My brother said he won't fly through the awesome cards now because of this suggestion. I would recommend to anyone who has a "die hard" fan in their life. This is so unique you will be getting thank you's well after giving it. I still am. My brother hasn't had a family game night with his kids in a very long time a month after giving this his kids had come over for dinner and stayed to play this with him.

This made it so much more fun to play Yahtzee. Although there is not reference to Yahtzee anywhere in the game, we could follow along perfectly without learning new rules. Very creative and being a Packers fan kept it even more fun. Using the football to shake the dice kept it amusing, but wasn't necessary to play the game.

Purchased this as a gift for a "shake and score" playing Packer fan. By the look on his face it was a certifiable success. The item is well worth a $15-$20 price tag, but anything over that I think it would be over priced. I loved that the football houses all the game parts and makes for a great display item on it's own. You can use the football as a "shaker". The logo is a one, I think, or a six. I can see this being a great conversation piece whilst enjoying a friendly (or not so friendly) game of "shake and score".Update 5/6/16:This item was such a hit that I have purchased it again to give as another gift.

Love this game!!

Very tiny! I just assumed it would be much bigger by the photo, but that is my error I guess. My little Packer fan will still love that this is an officially licensed item that he can play with. I'm excited to add this one to our family game nights. We really love games so I think this will be a good gift for my son, that we can also play together. Very happy to find such a unique "toy" for him.
