Rustic Country Blackboard

Do not buy this product!! On the picture it is rustic look blackboard.....in reality it is made POORLY from cheap material and has REAL WEAR and TEAR. My husband got a splinter in his thumb after the first minute of handling it! I bought it originally to use it to indicate my baby's age on photos.... The quality is so poor that its unsafe to use it to write on for adults, forget letting it anywhere near baby. I have to say the board itself looks very used, feels like it was bought on the flea market. The blackboard itself, Looks like its been used many times and not cleaned well from old chalk.So I contacted the seller to return it and had to wait for a day till they give me a permisssion to return (so you might very well be stuck with it). I got permission but have to pay for shipping now.... So this purchase is all in headache = unsafe and bad quality product, bad splinter, inconvinient and expensive return process to seller.... Recommend to stay away!!

This is a nice looking mini chalk board however if you want it to last you willneed to strengthen the frame a bit. I did so with some glue and fasteners to reinforce each cornerof the board. If not the actual slate (which appears to be real) is very loose and can pull apart.

For the price, this is a good product. The one thing you need to know though is that if you're using chalk markers, they will not erase. I would suggest painting this board with chalkboard paint immediately to make it better quality.

I ordered this blackboard to use for baby pictures each month, so that I could track my son's growth. It looks great in pictures, and it is the perfect size. I was afraid that it would be hard to wipe clean because of the low price, but it easily comes clean with a dry napkin. I've had the blackboard for 7 months now and couldn't be happier with it. Very happy with my purchase!

It came broken but I needed a day later so I didn't return. It's not well put together.

I really feel ripped off. This is very cute but so flimsy for the money. No quality. Spend that kind of money elsewhere.

This blackboard is a piece of junk. There is a large rusted staple (which is not visible in the picture) holding two of the sides together. Seeing as I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old to hold on her first day of preschool, I now have to worry about her safety and a future tetanus shot. Very disappointed. Especially for this price.
