Lightweight, Affordable, Beginner & Experienced Friendly
I’m a digital artist who has been using tablets to draw for well over 10 years now, and this tablet felt perfectly natural from the moment I started using it.General appearance: Removing the A15 from its box was a delight. This tablet is thin, sleek, and lightweight with a lovely matte finish. As soon as I took it out of the box, I got excited about how portable it is and how well it will travel. The pen is very light as well and fairly comfortable, however it doesn’t come with a pen grip (which might become more noticeable if you’re drawing for several hours at a time).Functions: The A15 comes in at 10” x 6” of working space (about 14” x 8” overall). My previous tablets have been slightly smaller, and the A15 feels roomy without being overwhelming. It has 12 buttons that you can map functions to (such as making your brush size larger or smaller, an undo button, or a shortcut to your favourite brush). In addition to the tablet being lightweight, the pen is also very light and has given me no issues with lag or slow responses. The tablet took about 2 minutes to install, and I haven’t yet encountered any performance issues with the pressure or connectivity.(One note: I personally have never used an “erase” function at the top of a tablet pen or a tablet wheel to adjust my brush sizes, so the lack thereof on the VEIKK was not a deal breaker - but it’s worth mentioning for the folks who do use them!)Price: This is the aspect I’m most impressed by. For the quality of the tablet, the A15 comes in at a fraction of the cost of competitors (with a glove AND 20 extra pen nibs). Particular name-brand companies will charge upwards of $200-400 USD for a similar sized, similar functioning tablet. I’m extremely supportive of more accessible tablets, and this one is a fantastic, affordable alternative.Overall, I’m incredibly pleased. I would highly recommend this as a solid quality tablet for starting artists, or a very wallet-friendly alternative for experienced artists.

The absolute best bang for your buck you will get!
I have used several drawing tablets over the past decade and a half, and surprisingly even at its price, VEIKKs reduced cost does not equal to reduced quality. This tablet is amazing, and almost a steal, especially compared to other brands within the graphic tablets industry. The pen is lightweight but doesn’t feel cheap at all, it’s battery free and doesn’t feel clunky to use. The pen pressure works extremely well and only needs slight pressure to reach max pressure sensitivity, but it isn’t overly sensitive. Even if it is, you can adjust it within the driver settings. The tablet is incredibly easy to set up, all you need to do is install the driver from the website and plug it in, you’re good to go! The hotkeys are all programmable, including the buttons on the pen, so you can adjust everything to your liking. The only suggestion I really have for the buttons is to maybe put on some touch indicators to make them easier to distinguish from each other when drawing as it’s easy to accidentally press the wrong one at times. It really feels like drawing on paper, the tablet has a texture that feels identical to drawing on paper. It is matte with a slight friction to it. The box also comes with packaged nibs in a little baggy. Just a nitpick, but it would be a nice feature to have a tablet stand with the nibs inside or maybe a small pouch to store them in.There were some initial hiccups with my computer and the driver, however VEIKKs team was incredibly responsive and helpful in resolving my issues, responding promptly to every message sent in a kind manner. The customer service is really wonderful and I can say confidently that VEIKK does their best to make sure their products satisfy their customers' needs. All in all, VEIKKs tablets are not only crazy good for their price, but they’re good enough to compete with Wacom and other competitors. And the customer service, well, I doubt that can be beat.If you’re looking for a gift for a beginner, or you’re a professional even, this tablet is a good option that won’t break the bank. I look forward to seeing what VEIKK continues to produce in the future.

Veikk A15, A Beautifully Crafted Tablet with Outstanding Functionalities
I received this tablet the day after I ordered it due to some Amazon promotion of one-day shipping. It came in pristine condition with no damages to the box nor the packaging. If you would want to get a brief overview of this lengthy review, just skip down to the conclusion. Now onto the unboxing experience.Unboxing Experience:My unboxing experience was pleasant with no hiccups at all. Upon opening the box, I was greeted with a smooth film covering the tablet and beneath that, were the spare nibs, the pen, the glove, and the driver download instructions. I was genuinely surprised by how many spare nibs (18) they provided, more than a lifetime use for any ordinary artist. At first glance, the smooth-chassis and the polished surface was especially eye-catching. The dark slim design seemed versatile as well as the smooth buttons and the rugged ring button. Although sleek and slim, it was quite sturdy indeed and felt high-quality, not made of the cheap materials many tablets are made out of.Driver Experience:The setup process was easy and well-defined with the small quick-start manual and the driver download instructions. I quickly downloaded the easy-to-start driver from the Veikk website and was immediately greeted with functions to map the active area, change the pen sensitivity, and to reprogram the hotkeys on the tablet. I have to note that in order for the tablet to work properly, you have to remove any other tablet drivers from your computer so they don’t interfere with one another. There were so many amazing features on the driver I can just talk about a few. First of all, you can reprogram the hotkeys on only SPECIFIC PROGRAMS. For example, if you only want to use a set of keybinds only on MS Paint, you could do that in the driver. The buttons programmed were extremely helpful for example, you could program them to undo/redo, changing the brush size, and changing colors if needed. There were options to switch between left hand and right hand mode for those lefties out there.User Experience:The tablet came with a 90 degree USB cable to connect to your PC, which can be plugged in directly. I found the cable design to be really helpful as regular cables that attach to the tablet directly interfered with your workspace. Once, the setup process was done, I moved on to testing the tablet. On the firsthand, the tablet was extremely easy to set up and I could start using it almost immediately after unboxing. The surface of the tablet was extremely smooth and felt analogous to writing on paper. Moving the pen across the surface was satisfying, with no squeaky noises during my whole experience. The buttons were firm, but not very loud. I could almost replace the buttons for my keyboard! As an experienced digital artist, I was extremely satisfied with the pen they sent along with the tablet. As a battery-free pen, it was light and not too bulky compared to some pens of other tablets. It was made of a light-weight plasticy material and has programmable buttons on the side of the pen. A cool feature on the tablet is that there are specific indicators showing whether the tablet is plugged in, whether or not the pen tip is detected, or if a button is pressed which helped me identify the hover length of the tablet.Trying it MS Paint, OneNote, and various other drawing applications, I found that the 8000-level pressure sensitivity of the tablet never failed me. The sensitivity curve can be easily adjusted in the drivers for those who may prefer a lighter press or those who generally press harder. The smooth glove was an excellent addition and contributed to drawing more smoothly on the tablet. With it on, my hand glided along the frictionless surface quite easily and made drawing just so much of a better experience. Conclusion:Overall, the A15 tablet is wonderful for all artists, myself included. I have used it for the past couple of days and wanted to share how great my experience was with using it to draw. My experience with this tablet has been smooth and seamless and was surprised with how much worth I got out of this $70 tablet. I would recommend this to all artists who are in a dilemma of choosing a good tablet; this Veikk A15 is well-rounded and has a TON of helpful features.Customer support has also been a big plus to buying this tablet -- they always respond quickly and effectively. The drivers worked flawlessly and the setup process was seamless. The A15 is an excellent budget option that encompasses the needs of all artists from digital illustration to multi-dimensional sculpting. For those who love working effectively, efficiently, and to have a reliable tablet, this one is your best bet.

Fantastic beginner's tablet
After having some time since my purchase of this tablet, I can say that if you are looking for a starting tablet, this is a great pick. There are a variety of incredibly useful tools and selling points that make this tablet a great first purchase, or a more lightweight travel alternative if you don’t use something like an ipad or touch surface drawing tool. I’ve added a list below of good and could be improved aspects of this tablet. Keep in mind that this is on the lower-end tablet line for VEIKK, so some of the “cons” listed are coming from my personal experience using higher-end drawing tablets for nearly 6 years, and may not directly impact your decision to purchase 😊 The pros: - Affordable pricing point - 8192 pressure sensitivity (current standard, but still nice) - 12 buttons - Large drawing surface - Drawing surface is smooth, but feels firm enough to mimic the feel of drawing on a physical surface - Lots of replacement parts if needed - Super lightweight - Come with glove for smooth hand motions on drawing surface - Tablet software very user friendly The “cons” - Does not include a radial dial for adjusting tool sizes more efficiently than button presses - No “eraser” button on back of the pen (One of the side buttons allows you to change from pen and eraser though!) - Tablet is wired - Tablet software UI feels out of date aesthetically If you’re jumping into digital art, whether you’re experienced or not as an artist, this is an amazing starting point for you. I highly recommend this tablet
