The brushes looks exactly as pictured and had no scratch marks. Tried them out, worked perfectly and were smooth on paper. They did not lose any bristles, and were in great condition. Would definitely recommend for beginners and advanced artists. I received these as a Hanukkah present and was very pleased. The fine brush was about 2 mm wide and the fattest brush was about 1 cm wide. Overall great quality for good price and is great as a gift. The packaging had descriptions of several of the brushes as pictured.

I haven't painted since high school (a good 10+ years ago) and wanted to have another go at it. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a new hobby so thought I'd give these brushes a go. I found them comfortable to use, the quality is decent and they produce a nice result on the canvas. Only issue I had was a couple of them had one or two loose bristles which I had to trim/remove but no more have loosened since then. i'd highly recommend these for someone new to painting, great entry level product.

This set of ten small brushes is ideal for beginners in their paintings with acrylic medium. The brushes are well made and solidly medium quality but priced rock bottom, therefor a very good value. They are small and ideal for painting on common 10 x 8 inches canvas. Made in China.

Great set of brushes for beginners to advanced artists! They are made quite well and are a perfect weight when the brushes are fully loaded. I also appreciate the fact that this set is "customized" for the delicate and detailed calligraphic artwork I design. From the small rounds to the script brushes, I'll get plenty of use from the whole set (as opposed to buying a set which only includes 3 or 4 brushes that I need)! I've used both acrylic and oil paints so far, and had great results - a nice smooth lay on multiple surfaces with no stray brush hairs falling out. Will definitely buy from seller again.

Honestly, I ordered these just as "throwaway brushes," for when I needed to do something that I wasn't willing to use an expensive brush for. When they got here, I was very surprised by the quality of these brushes. They aren't the fanciest looking, but they function very well for my watercolors and acrylics. I also sometimes use these for ink. The brush variety is actually pretty good, another thing I wasn't expecting for the price. I use this set very often and would recommend them to anyone who needs a set of brushes.

I bought these for watercoloring and they are pretty decent. I'm excelling through the medium fairly quickly and will be replacing these very soon with professional grade brushes made with natural hair as they will hold more water and paint. As of now, these do not have the variety of brushes I now need like an angle or fan brush. Nonetheless, very decent set for a novice or student. As you get better you will want to replace them.

I've had these brushes for years now, and they still work. For painters both new and experienced, these brushes work like a charm. However the only downside is cleaning, if you are not very careful when cleaning the brush part, you could potentially ruin it, not to mention, it could be inconvenient for future art projects as well. Other than that, these brushes are a nice addition, just be very careful when cleaning.

I do painting on slates as my business so I go through a lot of brushes. These are pretty good brushes for the price! I've been using them for the past month and so far they have maintained their shape. They aren't a top of the line product but for what they charged it was an excellent deal! ( I purchased these along with another product so I was eligible for free shipping too)
