Very difficult time talking the vendor into assembling and installing the chairs.1) they are heavy chairs, too heavy for us older folks to deal with. 2) They come unassembled. We insisted paying for white glove service and it took an hour of assembly. Worth it for us, else the chairs would be still in the boxes. It took a call to Amazon Prime and some back and forth to get the white glove services we needed. If you are healthy and burly and handy go ahead and do it yourself.Either way, the chairs are better than as advertised. Takes the strain off backs and legs. It puts me to sleep. Hubby has constant back pain, this gives him a break and takes all the pressure off his back. We needed them, and they work for us. This is the only seating we use. They are fashion forward in appearance, yet seem to fit in. Expensive, but a lifetime purchase, won't break and if I have to replace the thin pad over time, it is not a major job like rebuilding a recliner.
