Solid wood
The table is exactly what I expected. Its solid, sturdy, and exactly fit for purpose.I have left my stuff on it so you can get an idea of size and scale.It's attractive too. I have an industrial-chic style apartment and I'm going to use it as a side table (When the rest of my furniture turns up).I'm really happy with my purchase

Please read, not a bad product, just a bad experience.
My table didn't come with the screws, and amazon wanted me to return it and send me a whole new table rather than just send me the screws either..... eventually they gave me £10 credit to buy the screws.So I ordered some M5 bolts for next day delivery, too small, order some M6 bolts, they do fit.All but one bolt went in well, that last one was being very stubborn and started to wrench the fitting and the wood out of the table so I've left it.The table itself is beautiful bit of wood, thick and sturdy, the hairpin legs are good too, but the balance is a bit precarious so don't stand and balance on it, but placing a plant pot on it should be fine in a corner. I imagine if used as a coffee table, a medium sized dog like a Labrador could knock it over quite easily...
