Good Initial Impression
***UPDATE 7/9/17: About 10 days ago, I experienced a leak around the top of the handle where the tip inserts. I contacted the seller and they responded promptly via email. They asked me to verify if the handle itself was the problem or if it was merely the replaceable tip. They offered to warranty whatever was causing the issue. I checked further, determining that only the tip itself was faulty and they cheerfully sent out several brand new jet- tips within a couple of days. This is not only an excellent product but the customer service the seller provides is a perfect match! The machine itself still looks and functions like it is brand new. Feel 100% confident when purchasing this water flosser! This is my first water flossing machine, therefore I cannot compare it to the Waterpik or other big name brand machines. My H2ofloss arrived today sealed and intact. Setup was simple; I was flossing within a couple of minutes. The machine provides good pressure and it is easy to control. After my initial session my mouth felt great. The H2ofloss seems well made and I expect it to last - if it fails unexpectedly I will update this review. This machine seems to be an excellent value - provided that it lasts at least one to two years. I've read a couple of complaints about this system that I would like to address: "The reservoir leaks when removing it." Why not simply add slightly more than enough tepid water for each session with a cup, rather than removing the entire reservoir every fill - adding fresh water for subsequent sessions? "The machine is too noisy." I found the noise to be minimal - inconsequential. "I don't like the pressure switch on the handle." Having that notion in mind before I used the H2ofloss, I was concerned that the pressure slide switch would be too easily moved in use. As it turns out, the pressure slider requires deliberate effort to move and it won't slip to another setting accidentally in regular use. I find this position logical for the switch as one might wish to adjust on-the-fly as needed as opposed to stopping and readjusting a dial. Just my opinion. "The pressure is either almost zero or insanely high." I've found there to be several different pressures on this machine and the top level isn't overwhelming. In fact I start with low to get going and skip right to high once the water is flowing. People with sensitive gums may wish to start out with a lower setting however. Overall I am please with this purchase and I recommend this machine - especially for the price!

Works great, wish I had this years ago!
It works. I bought this based on the recent positive reviews. The bad reviews were from a couple years ago, so I figured I was safe and I'm very happy with my purchase. I never floss my back teeth because my fingers are so short and fat that it is way too difficult for me to even bother trying. For years I have only brushed and used mouthwash, but I still get cavities in between my back molars. Either that or my previous fillings are wearing away. I feel like I'm spending $300 every 6 months to repair previous fillings or fillings for new cavities. The hygienist that cleaned my teeth last week warned me that my gums were too large and that mine were on their way to gum disease. It was an awakening moment for me so I decided I needed to find a solution. Typical floss is cumbersome and the disposable floss sticks are annoying. The Listerine Access flosser looked better than most flossing options, but considering it is $10 for the stick and $10 for refill packs I would probably spend more than $50 on just that a year. I didn't realize these water flossers were this affordable. It seems like it is cheaper to get this h2o flosser in the long run. For performance I didn't expect it to be so powerful. On the highest setting it kind of stings if you don't hit your teeth or in between them, but it works great. There are plenty of pressure levels to fit anyone's comfort level. I got out a lot of gunk even after I brushed my teeth. My gums bled like they would if you flossed them and my mouth feels like it is brand new. This is definitely better than flossing. It will get out a lot more gunk than flossing the old fashioned way. The part I love the most is how easy it is to use. I hated trying to floss because of how long it took me to do it right. With this I can easily fill it with water and quickly floss all my teeth in less than a minute. I'm hoping this solves my long term problem of bad gums and cavities in between teeth or wearing away fillings. I expect this device to save me about $500 year in dental care alone. Lastly to address the noise concern of a lot of people this isn't too loud. If you don't have a door that separates your bathroom from your bedroom then you would probably wake up your significant other while using it. With a door they probably wouldn't notice it. If you have the valve closed while it is on it will vibrate louder since there is no where for the pressure to go, but for me I don't care about the noise. It works and does what I need it to.

1 year, item leaks
Loved the product. However, just after owning it for 1 year, the water reservoir leaks until fully drained. Be sure to get the 2 yr insurance.

Company Stands Behind Its Products
Purchased in June of 2020... Worked perfect until December of 2020. I wrote to the company through Amazon and explained what had happened... The water eventually stopped coming out of the nozzle. The motor was running, just nothing was coming out. Lily (at H2ofloss) responded the same day and said that it would be taken care of since it has a 2 year warranty. She asked me to do a few troubleshooting procedures for her to confirm if something may have been stuck in the tube since the motor was still working. I did what she asked and it still would not work. Lily told me she would send out a replacement to me and to expect it in a few days. It arrived in 3 days. The unit she sent was brand new, not a rebuilt. I set it up and started using it for the next week with no issues at all. I wrote to Lily and thanked her for taking care of this issue so quickly and without a fuss. She replied, to contact them again if anything should go wrong. For me, this is Above and Beyond great customer service from this company. They do know how to stand behind their products and take care of the customer. The product itself, is great. It is very quiet compared to their previous model, and much quieter than some WaterPik brands I've owned. It has every kind of attachment you could need to care for your teeth, your nose, your braces, bridgework, tongue and your gums. The water tank is adequate size but I would like to see a bigger one in the future. I like the fact that it has a separate slotted compartment for the attachments. The WaterPik brand, had storage in the lids which was not handy, cumbersome and difficult to stay closed. My only complaint is the on/off switch is a little stiff and may be cumbersome when you have slippery hands. It would be better if they used a softer switch or possibly separate on and off switches. But really, it works fine for me with my arthritis hands. This is a very good product with a great company standing behind it. I would buy this company's products again.

GREAT purchase if you use a neti pot a lot. 5 Stars as a Neti Pot alternative, 2 Stars as a Water Flosses (injured myself)
I am SO happy I bought this. I was looking at the expensive nasal irrigation systems and this does everything they do and more. And I save $40 instead of buying an expensive irrigation machine. I bought this yesterday with same day delivery because allergies hit me like a truck this year. This works MUCH better than a neti pot- the pulsing and lower pressure/flow is a bit gentler on my nose. I didn't have a lot of fluid left in my nose afterwards or get a headache like I do when I use a standard neti pot. If I use the old fashioned neti pot, I usually end up leaking salt water from my nose for hours. I had NONE of those issues after using this (although I did make sure to lightly blow my nose after using- just like I do with my neti pot). Is it still gross like using a neti pot? Yup. But honestly, nasal irrigation is sort of a life saver for me when I don't feel well. It saves me from a lot of sinus infections and I think I tend to suffer from colds less long when I use a neti pot more consistently. As for the other features--- I used the water flossing feature and tongue cleaner but I'm not 100% I knew what I was doing and my sinus/allergies are preventing me from being a good judge of if they did a good job. I used them before I went to bed and I was thinking my mouth felt less gross than normal when I woke up. My teeth just feel cleaner. It could be my imagination. I can't smell anything right now. I'm still trying to figure out how to use the water flossing without making a huge mess- or choking on a ton of water. I had water everywhere yesterday. I'm sure I'll get the hang of it. Once I figure it out, I'm keen on seeing if I can use it on my kids, seeing they really aren't old enough to floss yet. And this is way more entertaining for them than flossing. There are *so* many different tips for this so you can safely share the machine but not the tips. It IS loud and vibrates like crazy. Not sure how it compares to other systems, but it's something to be aware of. I'm pretty sure it woke up my child in the other room last night. Despite a sound machine running. It COULD have been coincidence. But eh. I'll attach a video of it running. After I used with the salt solution, I run warm water through the machine to rinse it. Suggestion: The on/off button might be better on the side or on the handle. Where it's located makes pressing it difficult. I have one hand on the handle and if I push the off button then the machine tends to tip. A good solution is to put the machine against a wall, but I think relocating the button would be the BEST solution. I have made a HUGE mess every time I've used this because of that button position. UPDATE: I ended up squirting myself in the eye using the floss option and injuring myself due to the on-off button issue- I was trying to switch the button off and everything went disastrously wrong. Put the on/off button on the handheld piece. FYI the water pressure on this is high enough to pack a serious punch. Ugh.... perhaps until they fix it, everyone should wear glasses or goggles while using it. Because you do NOT want this to happen. I promise, it's awful. I'm 2 days out from injury and my eye still doesn't look like it's healing.

The assortment of tips is pretty amazing. For those of you who irrigate your ...
Revised 5-31-17. Revised recommendation - Avoid this unit like the plague! In just over a month, two of the regular picks have experienced the same defect. The colored plastic piece cannot hold up to the stress of the water pressure. The first one lasted about 3 weeks before cracking and separating (see photos). The plastic fractures in a near perfect circle that follows the weakest part of the design. Once the fracturing has started, it doesn't take long before the tip separates from the base. During this time, water begins to shoot out sideways from just below the tip base. It makes it appear that the seal is bad, but close examination of the tip base will show the plastic fracturing (see photo with arrows). When my first tip cracked, I switched to one of the additional standard picks. It lasted 4 days before the same cracking started. At this rate, I would go through 15-30 standard picks a year! Considering I have used the same tip on a Water Pic unit for a couple of years, this performance is extremely unsatisfactory. I have not contacted the manufacturer yet, but will this week. I will update this post accordingly. ---------- original post --------- I have had my H2ofloss for about a week so far. I have had 2 water pik units in the past, and each of them suffered from the same loud vibration. If I were single, it wouldn't have been a big deal, but when it's so loud it wakes up your spouse, it is not a long term solution. It was the Quiet description that caught my attention, and I can say that this unit is very quiet, especially compared to my old waterpik. I am able to use it at 4am without fear of waking my spouse. It makes noise to be sure, but not much more than my electric toothbrush. It is not as well build as my old water pik was. The plastic seems thinner. However time will tell and after using it a week, I do not think it will be a factor. I have read reviews about tips cracking etc, To me, the basic tips appear as solid as Water-pics. It may be that some of the specialized tips with multiple plastic parts may fail under the pressure of the water being forced through them, but time will tell. I will update my review as time passes if I observe any of this. The unit is powerful. I am still on setting 2 - and it may be a while before I am able to increase power. I bought this as a way to help with sensitive gums that bleed with normal brushing. After a week of use, I can now brush without bleeding. My hope is that I can save the price of the unit many many times over in reduced dental expenses.. The reservoir hold 900ML of water. On 2, this lasts adequately long. My advise is start on a low setting until you know how you react to the pressure, then scale up accordingly. You may also want to add some mouthwash to the water to add some antiseptic properties. The assortment of tips is pretty amazing. For those of you who irrigate your sinuses, this unit allows for that too. I have not tried it yet, but I can see it being a boon during cold and flu season. I want to try the periodontal tip as soon as my gums acclimate to a higher setting. It looks like it will be great for cleaning out the area below the gum line. All in all, an amazing amount of utility packed into a decent looking unit.

Does the job for less money.
I have always sworn by the water pick brand, but the price of the water pick brand in these times is discouraging. For economy, I chose this cleaner/flosser, and I'm very pleased that it functions predictably and consistently.

Good strong water flosser
It's worth payin a bit more. Works well, I use it at the third power setting "not counting the off position". The nasal irrigator works nicely with the dry cold weather we have been having, I use it at the second lowest setting. I can't find any official description of the moisturizing mist spray tip's utility.

Quiet enough ??
Used waterpic for years. Bought a new waterpic and found it far too noisy. Returned the waterpic and tried this flosser for quieter operation. Found this flosser to be quieter than my old and new waterpic. This flosser is quiet enough for me. Still have to hold the water feed line with one hand to minimize vibrate noise. Delivery to Canada from USA . This flosser uses a little more counter space than some other flossers but I like the 800ml water capacity. Would buy again.
